I think there's more in there

Trevor Stephan looked really good throughout the season in NYP. Does he stay a starter? or end up in the pen?
Eric A Longenhagen
1:27
Had him projected in relief out of college but NYY have been great at developing college arms so maybe there's a chance he starts.
Jorge Alfaro

I'm out of options and will play in the majors this year.  How bad will I be?

He's so tough to nail down because he's so exceptionally talented but frustrating. Something about his bat path seems flimsy to me but I can't put my finger on it. There's also a chance a tweak unlocks everything and he's a force of nature.

How aggressive will Luis Robert's assignment be this year / how aggressive would you be?  Do you think he'll hit his way to AA this year?
Eric A Longenhagen
1:29
Think he sees Low and Hi-A this year
1:30
And I'd assign him to Low-A. He'd dominate extended just on tools, needs to see full season pitching to develop

Let's make a deal! Dan Straily for Nick Williams?

What's the difference between Keston Hiura and Willie Calhoun? They both feel like the identical player. I keep picturing the two spidermans pointing at each other meme
Eric A Longenhagen

Hiura has a better chance to do something defensively because his issues were health-related, not about unfixable physical limitations. Ii have a 6 hit 6 power on Willie and just shy of that for Hiura. Don't think you're super far off on the hit and power grades

Robert Tyler didn't pitch at all last year? Any word on him?
Eric A Longenhagen
1:35
Ah man, I know I have notes on what/why somewhere but I can't recall off the top of my head. I think I talked to someone who saw him throw during the fall but I don't think I saw him myself. Sorry. Pretty sure he had a shoulder issue.

Any additional info on Robinson Ortiz (LAD)?  Ceiling - #3 or possible top of rotation.  Stuff?   Got me interested!

He was buried in this fall's Hunter Greene notes: https://www.fangraphs.com/blogs/hunter-greene-rangers-conversion-arms-...

Who is the most interesting non-pitching prospect in the Tiger's system and why?
Eric A Longenhagen
1:39
So many interesting guys. Paredes is interesting because both scouts and in-office analysts have been on him since he was 17. I like McMillan's toolset but HS catchers haven't panned out at all the last 10 years. Lugo is fun to watch, probably a utility bat. Reynaldo Rivera also interesting. Think the Tigers had Trackman stuff on him other teams didn't.

What are a couple key things you can scout in person, but wouldn't be able to pick up on TV?
Eric A Longenhagen

Defensive first step/footwork, some in-game procedural stuff, general athleticism.
Sandy Ravage
