I have wondered if that situation is off-putting enough to steer players away from them but I haven't heard anything specific. They'll likely be in Vegas by the time new draftees reach the bigs so it might be less of an issue.

Plausible, there's a drop in talent right around their pick and if they think the guys they're left with are mostly the same they have incentive to cut a deal. Them and Boston have had buzz to that effect today.

I think the profile around college ball has grown and the $ is flowing so there is more talent
