This is... probably true? The latter part is without question, but outside of Skubal being the best in baseball, are Detroit's starters truly better? Cleveland has sneaky-good starters.

Having seen a fair bit of the Tigers recently, I can confidently say that a run-scoring blooper is a sign that maybe everything won't continue to go wrong for the offense, as it seemingly has been for weeks.

If Hunter Greene goes out and throws a gem and the Reds take game 1, would it ever make sense to sell out and try to steal game 2 by starting Lodolo and bringing in Abbott after ~ 4 IP or so instead of hoping one of them can put together a 6+ inning start in game 2 or 3?

The Dodgers may have the better lineup, but the Reds have some truly game-changing pitchers on their side, like Greene, Abbott, Burns, Scott, and Treinen. My money’s on the Reds.
