I love booing at games! I would never yell an insult at a player, but booing is just fun
Ben Clemens

Couldn't agree more
I boo a lot of people at baseball games when I'm attending as a fan
i don't even dislike them, communal booing is just delightful

Elongated vowels are just fun to say. Name your dog Goose or Moose and enjoy
Davy Andrews

I'm sorry to be a wet blanket, but I disagree. I just don't feel right being mean to somebody, even in that format.
8:41
It feels mean to me.

Happy for crochet! Was scarred from the July game with the Judge homer, but this time he pulled through!

Crochet was money....what a performance.

Balloon is a delightful word for a delightful object

That’s why I love pro wrestling. They WANT you to boo! It’s their job!

I don't really like booing when a player messes up or stinks in a game. But booing innocuous situations is very fun
Wes
8:42
I respect that, Davy. I feel like players generally ignore boos as opposed to directed insults, but I might be wrong!

Given technology today, it is hilarious how massive the pitchcom is
Ben Clemens
8:42
I really like the Mets PitchCom robot graphic
because it's outrageous how bad PitchCom is
it's like printers
Davy Andrews
8:42
Oh yeah, that's so great.
Welland Jackfish
8:42
when do they use a pitchcom robot graphic?
Ben Clemens
8:43
every time the pitchcom malfunctions
Davy Andrews
8:43
It's hilarious.
Ben Clemens
8:43
they have a little malfunctioning cutesy robot graphic
Davy Andrews
8:43
I've actually had an article idea sitting in my notes for months and months. It's a tell-all from the person whose job it is to make sure that every reliever enters the game with a PitchCom that's fully broken.
Ben Clemens
8:44
omg Davy please write this
Ben Clemens
8:44
wowwwwwwwww
Wes

The Cubs announcer repeatedly says that he's convinced that pitchcom almost never malfunctions. He believes 99% of alleged malfunctions are either the volume being set incorrectly or an attempt at getting extra time. What do you think?
Ben Clemens
8:44
100%
I think that's why it's so funny
MattStats5
8:44
You can't do that there, Aroldis
Ben Clemens
8:45
if anyone can get away with it, it's him
not like he gives up a lot of hits

Off-season article idea: how much of the saved time from not having to do signals do we give back from pitch com malfunctions
Davy Andrews
8:45
Ooh, that is good.
MattStats5

I know, but still.....tight game, on the road.Ā Ā Small things matter.

Even I can nearly see the pitch in Chapman's glove from the TV view. Wonder what the peekers can see
Wes

Are pitchcom devices available to the public? Would be cool if you could get your hands on one to try it out
Opifijikl

Wild Willy!

that one was close
Davy Andrews
8:46
That could have been disastrous.
