Mlb.com did a piece talking to Trout's trainer. In it he said that Trout has worked on explosiveness in the legs. Does explosiveness in the legs lead to more stolen bases? If so, does that make Trout the clear number one over Harper?

No puff piece like that should ever factor too heavily into your considerations. Having said that, I still have Trout as my number one.

I like Trout as the number even with the declining SB numbers. That being said, it will be interesting to see if Dusty gives Harper the green light more often.

Suppose you're an MLB GM. It's December 2018. Ownership has given you $500M to spend however you want. Do you sign Bryce Harper to a 10-15 year contract or spread that money around to upgrade at multiple positions?
