Sucks that it is gone, but I don't see it coming back unless teams really get into framing and have catchers who can't throw anyone out.

This I can get down with. And I think there's probably something to the notion that the less players run, the harder it becomes for them to be successful at it, since you need to be actively engaged on reading pitchers' tells and getting reps on the motions of stealing a base. If you know you don't have the green light, you're probably not as in tune with those things.
