Quintana/Schwarber for Giolito in a dynasty enough?
Jeff Zimmerman
9:22
I would take Q&S in a heart beat
Paul Swydan
9:22
I guess I don't get the fascination with Schwarber. He's a) injured and b) has no position until he's traded to an AL team.
I'd want a healthy player.
Vic Romano
9:23
The owner of Giolito and Mazara in my keep forever league is trying to win now and has said he would trade them both for a major upgrade for his offense. What's a fair estimate of a player I could offer up for those two? Stanton? Altuve? Springer? Betts?
Jeff Zimmerman
9:23
Giolito is healthy now, but already has a TJS under his belt. I would not be surprised if Quintana outproduces him from this point forward
Paul Swydan
9:24
Stanton might be the way to go there. I feel like he has more name value than actual value.
Jeff Zimmerman
9:24
I think Springer. It is obvious, Paul and I are going to disagree on Gio's value right now
Paul Swydan
9:25
Well, I just don't know that I'd consider Springer an upgrade.
Jeff Zimmerman
9:26
I think the others are too much. All possible 1st rounders. I think E5 may be in the right range
Paul Swydan

9:26
Price has been a conundrum, whats your take?
Paul Swydan
9:27
I think ultimately Price will be fine, but if this is his new normal, it's going to be a lot of years of fans howling about that contract.
Jeff Zimmerman
9:28
He is going to get hit harder with the lower FB velo, I am surprised it has been this much, but should be expected
Not your buddy, Guyer
9:29
Tyler Naquinn went deep again tonight, is he the real deal? Also, what do you guys make of the summer Chisenhall is putting together?
Jeff Zimmerman
9:29
In '09 he had similar velo and almost the same HR/9 as this season.
9:30
I am not sold on Nayquins power, but I think he is a nice player. I have given up on Chisenhall and will put my chips on someone else.
Paul Swydan
9:30
First off, great username. Second, not buying on Naquin until he is good without a .437 BABIP. Third, Chisenhall is fine. This is the top of the scale for him. He was this good two years ago, so it's nice to see him back to that level, but I wouldn't expect anything more than this.

What is your take on the Cubs cold streak? Serious problems, or just baseball?
Paul Swydan
9:31
Just baseball.
Jeff Zimmerman
9:31
Baseball .. they are still good.

9:31
at what point do the Red Sox become considered not actually that great at free agent signings?
Paul Swydan
9:32
Is any team really that great at free agent signings? No team's record is spotless the last time I checked.
Jeff Zimmerman
9:33
I would take the Red Sox signings are a bunch of other teams. How are the Yankees doing with their signings?
Josh
9:33
What do I do w/ Jose Abreu?
Paul Swydan
9:33
The same thing you do with a drunken sailor?
Jeff Zimmerman
9:34
Depends. If you are leading the league, get a safer choice. If behind, you need to take chances and that chance is him heating up.
Paul Swydan
9:34
You have to hold on to him, unfortunately, unless you can find someone willing to trade for him on his previously established value and not his 2016 performance. Maybe if someone's team loses their 1B to injury or something you can squeeze. Otherwise, you've got to be like Wilson Phillips and hold on for one more day.
Not your buddy, Guyer
9:35
*Thanks* for the compliment on the username, Paul
Paul Swydan
9:35
No problem, but I'm still not your Guyer, buddy.
No more Mazara?
9:36
Mazara got a bunch of early Rookie of the Year hype, but the the Rangers aren't even playing him everyday. Any chance he sees more time after a trade? or play 1B?
Jeff Zimmerman
9:37
I think a trade will clear things up with Texas. They so many hitting prospects. I could see them move hitting for pitching prospects.
Paul Swydan
9:38
I mean, since his first start on April 10, he's started 71 times and sat 8 times. And now Choo might have a back injury. Everything's gonna be alright, primise.

9:38
Which current AL division leader are you most confident in to stay in first and win their division?
Paul Swydan
9:38
Are the Cubs an AL team? Probably the Rangers.
Jeff Zimmerman

Cleveland

Desperate for starting pitching at this point and punting saves in 12 team mixed h2h 5x5 redraft league. Was offered Archer and Shaw for Sano and Osuna. Fair value? Archer scares me a bit
Paul Swydan
9:40
Maybe because it's a redraft league, but I'm not sold on Archer turning things around, and Shaw hasn't been that great either. If you're desperate you're desperate, but I'd try to do better.
Jeff Zimmerman
9:41
I think you try for more, quite a bit more.

Who's closing for the Rockies by September?
