I know we're gonna talk about Yanks-Guards tonight but can we take a moment to acknowledge the excellent weekend baseball? Of course, the awesome 0-0 game on Saturday, but then the most entertaining 6-0 game I've seen in a long time on Sunday.

I think it's safe to say that many (most?) fans would like new blood in the ALCS. Pretty decent chance they won't get it, though.

Saw this from a CFB writer on twitter- so so true- Playoff baseball is nothing but four hours of pain-inducing stress for both sides. The best. But also the worst.

Not a ton - it's a small sample. But it does give me some hope that he can turn things around. From a fantasy perspective, it gives me a little more interest in using a late pick on him.

Went for a walk and listened to the Astros radio broadcast of innings 7 and 8 on my phone, Was home watching on TV when Alvarez went deep, and kind of wish I'd have hear Robert Ford's call. One of the game's elite broadcasters.

Bourbon tastes really different after Sour Patch Kids. You get a lot more oak and grainy tastes
