I think it *should* have come down enough to be buyable. He profiles as good-not-great. Like Carlos Carrasco, Tyler Anderson, Nestor Cortes, and Frankie Montas. These are positive fantasy contributors even if they probably won't singlehandedly win any categories for you.

What are your thoughts on the ascent of Jackson Chourio? Where would you place his future value at?
Brad Johnson
1:31
So a little about me... I have a couple real scouting contacts and more contacts with people who aggregate information from teams of scouts. I'm not entirely hopeless performing my own scouting. All of which is to say I don't get many looks at guys at Chourio's level, and they tend to be too far away/playing against too weak of competition for me to adequately judge their talent.
That said, Chourio is the guy everyone is talking about. The Elly De La Cruz of 2022.

10T points league with keepers. Lindor for will smith (C)?
Brad Johnson
1:32
Seems fair, pending opportunity costs.
1:33
It's often necessary to overpay for a good catcher. And Smith has a history of finishing strong.

I'm 3-7 in my dynasty league and looking to stash some pitchers for next season. Who should I target?
Brad Johnson
1:34
Ken Waldichuk, Hayden Wesneski, Joey Cantillo... let's see... who am I forgetting...
1:35
Grayson, Hall, Kyle Muller, Cade Cavalli, Caleb Kilian, Sixto Sanchez if he's been forgotten (scouts are super negative about him fwiw), Ethan Small
1:36
I'm sure I'm missing some super-obvious names. I gather you want to focus on MLB-adjacent arms and not the tier down of flashy low-minors guys like Andrew Painter.

Am I gonna turn a corner my 2nd go round in the big leagues?   My strikeout rate in the minors has dropped from the last time I was up to the big show
Brad Johnson

I'm optimistic. The Rays do a great job about putting guys in a place to succeed.
And they have the depth to use him as a part timer until he's comfortable.

Best hitter on market?  Bell or mancini?
Brad Johnson

Bell

Will Jorge Lopez net a top 100 prospect
Brad Johnson

Redraft 12. Please rank these weak catchers  for rest of year: Rutschman, Melendez, Heim.
Brad Johnson

Melendez, Rutschman

Your read on Keibert Ruiz?
Brad Johnson
1:39
Fun irl player, probably eventually finds fantasy utility. Sells out for contact at the expense of power. At least he has since joining the Nats.
1:40
There's another gear or three in there, but I wouldn't count on seeing them this year. He has enough on his plate behind the... err.. plate.
Luis Garcia
1:41
I have had awful production at third base. With that being said I can shift Bobby with the third base. What are your thoughts on Luis Garcia at shortstop moving forward?
Brad Johnson
1:41
Truly massive range of outcomes, many of them pretty bad. The likelihood he hits for power this year is pretty low. He doesn't run. He probably doesn't ascend to the top of the lineup anytime soon.
1:42
I imagine he'll perform similarly to whatever you're getting from 3B.
Oneil Cruz available by any chance?
Mark

Offered a trade in my league, thoughts? Burnes and Pham for Bryce Harper and Urias
Brad Johnson
1:42
Harper side is a huge win if that's Julio
1:43
If it's Luis, then it's more a question of needs.
If it's Ramon (I know it's not), then the Burnes side.
1:44
Ok, on that note, I'm going to toss in the towel. Thanks for coming everyone. Next up is... July 4. Well... we'll see about that. Might be a Tuesday chat.\
