With Bird on the DL I have Alonso in the 1b roll ---- after 12 games I can move Machado to SS - Sano can be at 3b and then Duda at DH ... or do I keep Baez in the roll at SS over Duda at DH ?

Depends on needs but I'd go with Duda. Also, you may be able to trade Baez off as someone seems to always like him
