I am assuming that Yermin is C-eligible in your league, and I'd be fine to shop d'Arnaud if so. I'd shoot for the Verdugo/Brantley range if I could - he's one of the few catchers capable of making you not want to bang your head against the table!

I mean, there's no reason to ever do anything with Acuna except thank your lucky stars you got him on your team. And yeah, Vladdy is awesome and has finally cut the ground ball percentage. The breakout is real.

I would if I could, yeah, but it obviously depends on who your injured guy are and who you'd need to drop. I'm trying to hold Kelenic where I can, though.

Soler and Corbin .. do I drop them. When is Wander Franco coming?

Both are droppable but not must-cuts or anything. It's still early, I'd probably give both guys time to figure it out, but I'm usually patient to a fault. And my best guess with Wander is late June or early July, but the Rays are really tough to figure out.

Hey Dan....thoughts on holding Wander Franco in a 10tm 6x6 keeper league where we keep 5 players forever? Do you see him coming up at all this year and if so, what’s a reasonable expectation for his impact. Thanks!

So many Franco questions! In a keep forever league, you have to hold him at pretty much all costs. I do think he comes up, and think he can be a very solid Michael Brantley-type player right out of the gate.

I'm fine with that. Sixto isn't a must-hold and it's more about need. I'd prefer Mountcastle slightly over Wong in a vacuum but either is fine.

Any reason to hold onto Triston McKenzie with Andrew Heaney and Brady Singer on the wire?

Was skittish drafting him this year but needed pitching help.

Zero. Never really understood McKenzie's rostered percentage. I'd certainly refer to roll the dice with Heaney at the very least.

How long do you think it will be until Michael Kopech earns a spot in the Sox Rotation? Do you think his innings limit will be worth the stash??

I think he'll be valuable when he's out there, even if that is capped at 100 innings. But we've got LaRussa and trying to get inside his head is impossible. My guess is he'll start pretty regularly for a bit but be shuffled back and forth to the bullpen most of the season. Still worth a roster spot, though.

In a deep 15-teamer, anyone with a starting job is relevant. But there is really nothing to make me optimistic that he'll provide much positive value right now. So, I'd look pretty much anywhere else if I could.

If you mean Will Smith, I'd make that swap in a second. Otherwise, I'd probably hold for now. But I wouldn't crush you for making the swap to Ramos if you got overly frustrated. Personally, I'd do it for Will Smith only

Can't guarantee the 40, but I feel pretty confident we'll see a 6-homer week at some point as the weather warms up. Not dropping him, personally. He'll hit for power.

How the hell do Lindor, B. Lowe, Grandal, J. McNeil, E. Rosario, and Kyle Tucker all have batting averages below .220 right now?

Really killing my team's hitting categories but I obviously can't drop most of them this early.

Am I crazy feeling like this is the worst the MLB has looked hitting-wise to start a season in a long time?

Sigh, it is awful, yes. I saw a stat somewhere that put it into context about just how bad it's been, but you're not wrong. One of the worst ever, and certainly in recent memory.

But you know, without question, those guys are going to start hitting at some point. Don't discount the weather - I mean, I've got a fire going right now and it's almost MAY! When it heats up, they probably will, too.

I'm fine with it. I don't think it's a crusher of a deal - McMahon was a pretty highly-valued prospect recently - but no issues with it.

I mean, I'd just be guessing, but I'd assume they'll let him heal entirely before bringing him back, after which he should be good to go. But how long that takes is anyone's guess.
