What are you doing with Jameis in dynasty leagues?
Mike Tagliere
12:58
You have to simply hold onto him. You won't get anything in return, and he's not droppable just yet.
12:59
Hey guys, thanks for stopping by the chat today! I'll be answering as many questions as I can for the next hour. Please submit the questions once and I'll get to as many as I can!

Do you think Andy Dalton will be a starter in the NFL again?
Mike Tagliere
1:00
I do, in fact. I believe that it'll be either him or Josh Rosen under center for the Patriots in 2020.

Will O.J. Howard return to top-5 TE status under TB?
Mike Tagliere
1:01
Is it possible? Absolutely. Would I bank on it? Don't have to. He is someone I'd be willing to draft as the 8th or 9th tight end off the board with the reward much greater than the risk.

Dynasty questions; How many QB would you carry on your roster? I have Prescott and Folles right now should I try for one of the rookies and what round of draft? It is a 5 round draft, roster is 25 players, my pick is 1.07, 12 teams. Folles has me real nervous to be honest!!! Thanks for all you guys help!
Mike Tagliere

Dynasty is different than redraft. You want at least two competent QBs on your roster, as there's no quarterbacks on the waiver wire to stream (or if your starter gets hurt). Foles isn't considered to be the starter right out of the gate, so you may want to snag one in the second round. I love Burrow, and if you can get him in the second round, that'd be great.

i have the 4th pick in a 10 team league and expect to get either Zeke or Cook.  At 17 and 24 who are 2 players I should be looking at that might still be there? I was thinking of going another RB and WR but could go RB RB if Drake and Jacobs fall, then go heavy with WRs.  THANKS and stay safe.
Mike Tagliere
1:04
It's tough to say without knowing who's available, but I generally want two RBs and one WR through three rounds. ADP is going to shift quite a bit after the draft, so don't set your sights on any two players just yet.

12 team keeper 1/2 ppr. I have to choose between Darius Slayton and Anthony Miller for 2020. Who would you choose? Also, odds Rashaad Penny makes it back to any kind of fantasy relevance this year? Thanks
Mike Tagliere
1:05
Call me crazy, but I'm not sold on Slayton being a fantasy asset in 2020. With Shepard, Engram, Barkley, and Tate healthy, they're all ahead of him on the pecking order. So, I'd go Miller. The Seahawks are completely up in the air right now, as Penny and Carson are both recovering from injuries, while they've discussed drafting a running back.

With Justin Jackson taking Melvin Gordon’s role albeit with less volume, is he a better buy than Eckler at their current price?
Mike Tagliere
1:06
If they don't draft a running back or snag one in free agency, I would say Jackson is a high-end RB4 who has top-24 upside. I'm not buying Ekeler as a 2nd round pick, no.

Do you have any thoughts on the Washington backfield? I know it's a disaster, but I think Guice could have some potentially league winning upside if he can finally stay healthy (obviously a big if). When would you consider taking him in ppr?
cool 1
Mike Tagliere

They're going to have a massive timeshare, and no, I don't believe he has league winning upside because the offense doesnt generate enough scoring opportunities. That's what you need to win leagues.

Firstly, thanks for doing this!  So I'm in a keeper league, 2 keepers, where each player is always kept round 1 and round 2.  It's a 12-Team 1QB 2RB 3WR 1TE 1FLEX league.  I plan on keeping SBarkley and JMixon as my two keepers.  I also have the first pick this year.  I know everyone else's keepers, so I can see who's available with my first pick.  Should I draft either AJones or JJacobs and have a 3rd potential RB1 in my FLEX (but then my first WR will be taken at pick 48) or should I draft DAdams for a solid WR1 and a more balanced team?  Thanks again!  You're the best!  Cheers!

I'd snag Adams and go for the balanced approach. By the time it comes back to you, all the target hogs will be gone. I also just happened to write an article on WRs high in the draft, too. Here you go: https://www.fantasypros.com/2020/04/wr-or-rb-which-is-the-safer-play-a...

Do you see Tyler Higbee becoming Jared Goff’s security blanket? Top 6/7 TE? Or do you see Gerald Everett stepping in and cutting into his workload? Thanks
Mike Tagliere
1:10
That's tough to say. I was looking at him earlier today and his emergence came out of nowhere. It was also for a very short period. I'm not willing to invest a high pick in him right now. We can't forget they drafted Everett with Higbee already on the roster. My guess is that McVay shakes up the offense in 2020.

Can Ronald Jones become a solid RB 2 this year with potential low end RB 1?
Mike Tagliere
1:11
If they don't draft a running back in the first two days of the draft (or sign anyone noteworthy in free agency), it's going to be difficult for me to keep him out of my top 18 running backs this year, especially when we know Brady loves to target his RBs.

I'm new to FantasyPros but loving what you guys have to offer! I have a startup auction draft for a Dynasty league on May 3rd. 12 team, 0.5 PPR, SF. I'm wondering if you target certain teams to draft players from based on SOS or if overall player talent is a better indicator, in your opinion, of fantasy success?
Mike Tagliere
1:13
You should pay no attention to SOS in dynasty. In reality, SOS even in redraft is overrated. I do, however, tremendously value what team a player lands on. If a wide receiver lands on a depth chart where he may not crack the starting lineup right away, he NEEDS to be moved down. If receivers don't get opportunity within the first two years, they're typically done. Talent is one thing, but landing spot is arguably more valuable.

Hey Mike, what's your early take on Chubb for 2020 in fantasy? Hunt outscored him in PPR most weeks late in season, which hurt a lot of teams. Is Stefanski's addition a game-changer for him in fantasy?
Mike Tagliere
1:14
I love Chubb, but knowing Hunt will be there, he's nothing more than a low-end RB1 with a capped ceiling. The offense will be better in 2020, but Hunt will be there as a thorn in his side all year.

Hey Mike, just wanted to say thank you for all the great work you and the Fantasy Pros team do. You guys are legends at what you do and we really appreciate it. What WRs do you think could break out this season and finish as WR1s. Sutton, Ridley? Anyone else you like?
Mike Tagliere
1:15
Appreciate you, Fantasynerd. Sutton, Ridley, AJ Brown, DK would be my top choices for WR1 potential.

This WR draft class is absolutely stacked. I know a lot will depend on landing spots, but how many rookie WRs besides Jeudy, Ruggs, Lamb, do you see being fantasy relevant in year one and being picked in redraft leagues this summer?
Mike Tagliere
1:17
They're going to be overvalued because of last year's class. There aren't nearly as many openings around the league for guys to come in and get targets right away. Jeudy is the one who should have redraft appeal right away, while Ruggs, Lamb, and Jefferson are all going to be situation dependent. Landing spot will tell us a lot. If you haven't heard, Yates and I will be hosting a 3-4 hour broadcast during the entire first round of the draft, breaking down every pick, and giving you the fantasy spin (both redraft and dynasty). *Dynasty - PPR* Who is your favorite WR in tier 2 of the upcoming rookie draft? Thanks fellas.
Mike Tagliere
1:18
Justin Jefferson due to his versatility to play anywhere.

*Dynasty - Rookie Draft* Every time Tua gets hit everyone will be wondering "Is this it?". With that in mind Herbert to the Chargers is intriguing. If he ends up there where would you consider taking him? Thanks fellas.
Mike Tagliere

I'm not too excited about Herbert, honestly. I wrote up a player profile on him explaining why. Best case scenario, from a fantasy perspective, is someone like Matthew Stafford.
