Hey everyone! This is Matt Barbato from FantasyPros. Excited to chat with you all today as we're just a couple days away from the NFL Draft! Feel free to chime in with any redraft or dynasty league questions. And I'm sure we'll have plenty of time to talk about the draft too! Let's get rolling!

Who wins the trade, dynasty superflex, ppr. Devante Adams for Higgins, 1.03 and 2.01? Thanks
Matt Barbato
1:00
I think it's a good deal for both sides. Maybe the team trading Adams could've gotten a little bit more, as Adams is a top 3 WR still in his prime. But can't complain too much about getting an exciting WR in Higgins. Plus, you'll be able to get Chase, Smith or Kyle Pitts with pick 1.03. Pretty good deal for both sides.

Is this the year to make sure you snag a top 10 QB? I truly believe there is a big tier break after Jalen Hurts and Ryan Tannenhill
Matt Barbato
1:03
I don't think it's a huge deal if you don't land a top 10 QB in redraft leagues. To me, Joe Burrow, Matt Ryan and Carson Wentz are all guys I wouldn't mind having if I miss out on the top 10 guys. I wouldn't reach for a guy like Hurts or Tannehill.

And to add to that last question from Hank. I might be on an island, but I do not get the Jalen Hurts hype right now. I don't think he showed enough in a small sample size to merit being a top 10 QB in drafts. I think the fantasy community tries to always find the "next" guy. But often the next guy is someone we didn't see coming. Plus, at QB9 in our consensus rankings, Hurts' draft price offers 0 room for error. Proceed with caution, this is still a pretty bad offense.

10 Team Superflex league, I have picks 1.01, 1.02, 1.03 and 1.07 after going full rebuild on an orphan I took over last year. I'm leaning towards Lawrence, Harris and Pitts followed up with best WR/RB at 1.07. Am I crazy for taking Pitts in the Top 3?
Matt Barbato
1:06
I don't think you're crazy at all. There's a chance Pitts will be taken before any of the wide receivers in the actual draft. And he truly is a transcendent prospect. Don't let the position scare you away, as Pitts won't line up a ton as a traditional in-line tight end. If you think he's the best player available, you take him.

Thanks for setting up the chat, these are so great!  What are your thoughts on CEH vs Swift for this upcoming season, and also who do you believe holds the greater dynasty value?  Many thanks :-)
Matt Barbato
1:09
First off, thank you for joining and sending a great question! This is really tough. I think this upcoming season Swift holds greater value because his role seems to be more defined. But he's on a rebuilding offense that could be really lousy with Goff under center. CEH is on the best offense in football, but his role is much less defined. I believe CEH still has slightly more value in dynasty. Again, the fantasy community got way too excited when CEH was drafted by KC, and we completely forgot that he was a rookie! I expect him to eventually show the talent and cash in on being Mahomes' running mate.

What round do you see Pitts and Chase going in 10 team 1/2 point PPR?   Thanks
Matt Barbato
1:11
Really hard to say right now, not knowing which teams they'll be on. I think Pitts could go as high as somewhere like Round 6 because of the scarcity at tight end. Chase I'd expect to be a later round selection in redraft leagues.

Dalvin Cook and Alexander Mattison for Jonathan Taylor and 2021 Pick 1.08?
Matt Barbato
1:12
If you're looking to rebuild, I'd say do it. You get a potential bellcow in Taylor + can add a dynamic player with that pick. However, if you're trying to win now I'd keep riding Cook, as Taylor's Year 2 value is more muddled than many people think.

Dalvin Cook and Alexander Mattison for Cam Akers, 2021 Picks 1.07, 1.11, and 2.07?
Matt Barbato

Wow, lots of people looking to part with Dalvin and Mattison. This is a good haul if you're looking to rebuild. I'd do it.

Looking to move Jameis Winston, what do you think is his trade value right now in a 12 team ppr superflex league before the draft?
Matt Barbato
1:13
You could probably get depth at RB or WR for him. I don't know how willing people will be to take a chance on Jameis with Taysom Hill looming.

How much is TE5 different from TE10? Like between hockenson and tonyan or rant
Matt Barbato
1:14
I'd say it's pretty flat. All of those guys can be a top 3 tight end every week, or they can finish outside the top 10. I really like Hockenson and think Goedert could blossom this year.

What is Brandon Ayuik's fantasy value for ppr?
Matt Barbato
1:15
I'd rate Aiyuk as a mid-range WR2. Rookie QB coming in, but SF's horizontal passing offense should be conducive to early success. But will the volume and TDs be there? That's where I temper my expectations.

McCaffrey or Henry first?
Matt Barbato
1:16
McCaffrey, especially in any PPR format.

Do you think Trevor Lawrence will be a good backup qb for fantasy?
Matt Barbato
1:17
I don't mind taking a stab on him toward the end of your drafts. I've done it before where I'll take a low-end veteran QB1, then pair him with a high-upside backup. If you think you've got enough depth at the other positions, why not?

How many catches do you think is the range Swift catches? What’s his most likely landing spot in 0.5 PPR?
Matt Barbato
1:18
I'd say a 60-catch season is on the table. He'll probably end up being drafted no later than Round 2.

I have D.Henry in a dynasty. Is now the time to trade him away or hold for one more season?
Matt Barbato
1:18
If you're looking to rebuild, for sure. I have to think all of that mileage is going to catch up to him. And his trade value may not ever be any higher than it is right now. If you can get a strong haul, I'd sell.

On a super flex dynasty I own the 1st 3 picks who should I draft
Matt Barbato
1:19
Trevor Lawrence, Najee Harris, Pitts/Chase, depending on who your TE is.
Reid

Where would be the best case scenario for Kyle Pitts to fall to in this draft?
Matt Barbato
1:20
Best case scenario is I think Cincinnati with Burrow and slightly less competition for targets. But ATL wouldn't be bad at all. Imagine trying to cover him, Julio and Ridley!
Jimmy

Dynasty format. I have Saquon and Aaron Jones at RB. Lamb, Boyd and Cooks at receiver. I’m torn between taking Chase (if he falls), Pitts or the top RB available. Thoughts?
Matt Barbato
1:21
If you need a TE, I'd put Pitts first on that list. Then I'd target a RB only if Najee Harris or Etienne are on the board. I love DeVonta Smith too if Chase doesn't make it to you.
Claudio
1:22
Whats your thoughts on Damien Harris? And also myles gaskins?
Matt Barbato
1:22
Not a fan of either. Both are serviceable if the depth chart is thin. But RB3s in my mind who could be replaced during the draft.

What rookie prospects you think will have immediate fantasy impact
Matt Barbato
1:23
Immediate impact I'd say Harris (more of a 3-down back than Etienne), Chase and Pitts, although the transition to the NFL is always hard for pass catchers.
