Hey everyone! Thanks for taking some time out of your day to join me. My name's Kyle Yates and I'm one of the full time analysts here at FantasyPros. We're going to be spending the next hour discussing fantasy football and answering your questions! Let's dive right in.

In your rankings you were high on Deebo Samuel, but now with his injury, where should you take a chance on drafting him in redraft?  Or just stay away?
Kyle Yates
1:01
I actually was one of the lower experts on Samuel before his injury, unfortunately. I didn't see much of an opportunity in this offense this season with Jalen Hurd, Trent Taylor, and Brandon Aiyuk all stepping back into the fold. With the injury now, this pushes him even further down my board. I'm likely to avoid him in my drafts unless he falls to the point where I can't pass on him. The talent is there, but he's someone that comes with a ton of question marks this season and I'd prefer to look elsewhere.

Currently in a Superflex Long Draft where I've basically went Zero RB, who are some RB's that should have value late in a .5 PPR league?
Kyle Yates
1:02
This is a tough question to answer because I'm not sure how late you're talking or the league size. However, Tarik Cohen, Jordan Howard, Duke Johnson, and Antonio Gibson are all RBs that I'm looking to scoop up later on in drafts.

I've got Evan Engram, Jonnu Smith, Will Dissly, and Gronk in a 1 QB PPR league- do I have enough talent to send Evan Engram away for an RB? (my top RBs are Swift and Tevin Coleman) What RBs could I target with Engram?
Kyle Yates
1:04
Evan Engram is insanely overhyped this offseason...by both the general public and the majority of experts. I would absolutely look to capitalize on that and shore up a weak spot on my roster. Jonnu Smith is going to be a consistent TE1 for you every week this season and he comes with immense upside. Rob Gronkowski is someone who's going to be a back-end TE1 when it's all said and done, most likely. However, I'm not holding out hope for Will Dissly this year. As for who to target, this is all dependent on your league. I'd recommend sending out a group message saying that you're willing to move Engram for a RB and see what type of offers you get.

In a dynasty rookie draft, superflex PPR. I have 5,6,7,13. Assuming 2rb and 2 QBs go where should I go. Dobbins, Swift, Jeudy/Lamb or 2 Wr and Dobbins. Probably getting a WR at 13 as well. Been fighting this for weeks. Thanks for the help!
Kyle Yates
1:06
I never want to go into my draft with a specific strategy, because I believe it can hinder me from putting together the best possible roster. However, if those players are all on the board, I would look to go Swift and Dobbins and then Jeudy if he's still there. Lamb's going to be great, but I have Jeudy ranked ahead of him on my Dynasty Big Board (although it's splitting hairs, honestly). And then I'd look to even it out and snag a talented WR like Pittman or Higgins if they're still there at 13.

In Standard scoring, who do you prefer Jonathan Taylor or David Montgomery? Would you feel comfortable taking either (or both) of them in the early 4th or am I reaching?
Kyle Yates
1:09
In a standard league, I see more of a path for Montgomery to get more carries this season than Taylor. While Taylor should be much more efficient, Montgomery should finish with more touches. Taylor needs Mack to miss time with an injury in order for him to finish as a top-12 RB, while I believe Montgomery should hover around that range regardless. I'm fine with pulling the trigger on either in the fourth round though. Get the guys you believe in.

Hey guys, should I keep miles Sanders for a 3rd Rd. pick or Kupp for a 5th Rd. Pick, my third keeper is nick Chubb
Kyle Yates
1:10
Hey Andy, I'd personally be rolling with Sanders. Even at the higher pick cost, I believe Sanders is worth the keeper there. Kupp comes with a ton of question marks this season and I'm likely staying away, especially when you factor in his draft cost.

What rookie WR do you see having the best chance to be a WR1 this season and what percentage of a chance would you give them?
Kyle Yates
1:11
Michael Pittman Jr. is probably my favorite bet to finish as a WR1 this season, but it's not a high percentage chance. Rookie WRs rarely come out of the gate that strongly, so a lot would have to go his way to finish in that range. I give it maybe a 15-20% chance.

With so many people starting drafts rb heavy, is it better to take the wr value or grab the best rb you can.
Kyle Yates
1:14
This is the benefit to having tiers and drafting from there. This allows you to stick true to your board and scoop up value as it comes along. If a top-tier WR is still available at your pick, scoop them up and "zig" while everyone else "zags". However, if you know that there's one or two RBs left in this top-tier and they're likely to go off the board before your next pick, you can draft one of them and feel comfortable. I hope that makes sense...

Looking at it in a half-ppr standpoint (or whatever standpoint if they overlap), are you still avoiding James White with Cam Newton now in the picture?
Kyle Yates
1:15
Avoiding is a relative term...While I'm not necessarily sitting here super excited to draft James White, I will draft him if he falls well below his ADP to the point that he's a value. He's not going to be a league-winner, by any means, but he can certainly provide some FLEX value on bye weeks, etc.

If Brees goes down is Winston the starter over Hill??
Kyle Yates
1:16
Yes, I do believe so. While I believe Hill is their long-term solution at QB, they're going to have to redesign the entire offense to fit his skillset. This is near impossible to do in one or two weeks time for when Brees goes down to their next game...Winston will step in and would have fantasy value in that instance.

In a 10 team 1/2 PPR I 1am targeting Jacobs in middle of 2nd.  Where does he rank with Drake and Sanders who might be there?  Thanks
Kyle Yates
1:17
In a Half PPR format, I have Jacobs and Drake right in the same range, but I give the slight edge to Jacobs. I'm comfortable projecting more volume for Jacobs on the ground, but Drake could certainly make up for it in touchdowns with such a high-powered offense.

Hi, I play in a 12 player standard keeper/dynasty league, with 8 guys to keep. I currently have M. Thomas, Mixon, Dan. Jones, Marqui. Bro. and TE Henry on the roster. I can start max 3 players at RB or WR. I have pick 1, 2 and 3 in the upcoming draft but who to pick? CEH is a no brainer at 1, but the others I'm not so sure. Im not in love with stonehand/fumble/tread on tires/2 down back Taylor - although his is very good at what he does and the O-line is a killer. Im very much in love with Jeudy who I expect could be the next OBJ. Dobbins is very interesting, and brings more versatility than Taylor, fits the system, they project him as a 1st round 3 down back etc. The guys next to me in the draft have Mack and Da. Williams. How about a trade for 4. pick + 1st round 2021 for my 2. pick and grab CEH, Dobbins and Jeudy + 1st round pick 2021 (I currently don't have a 2021 1st round pick)? Of course one can never have enough RBs, but 4 starters seems heavy, when I only have one proven WR1.
Kyle Yates
1:19
I'm not opposed to trading back and accumulating more draft picks if you're not comfortable with the options at your pick. This class is very solid at the top without one clear 1.01 like a Saquon Barkley, Ezekiel Elliott, etc. You're not losing a ton of value trading back and you're still going to get an incredibly talented player.

What do you guys think about Allan Lazard's opportunity as the #2 WR in GBAY,  and will he seize it??  The kid seems like he has all the tools.
Kyle Yates
1:22
Lazard does seem to have the upper hand in the WR2 competition, but I'm not sure if it's going to equate to a ton of fantasy value. Devin Funchess is also there, who this coaching staff brought in to compete for that spot, so they may not feel as comfortable with Lazard as we do in the fantasy industry. Lazard's a fine dart throw pick towards the end of your draft, but I'd make sure to temper expectations.

What is Terry McLaurin’s ceiling? Could he be a top 5 WR?
Kyle Yates
1:23
McLaurin is immensely talented and I love him as a player. However, in this offense, there's no way he's reaching WR1 numbers. There is more competition for targets this season and I'm not projecting this offense to be very powerful in 2020. He's a fantastic pick at his current ADP though.

What are your thoughts on Jonathan Taylor vs Alvin Kamara in PPR Empire Dynasty Formats. We are 4 seasons in and it ends after 10 seasons
Kyle Yates
1:24
In a Full PPR format, I'm going to have to go with Kamara. He simply gets too much work through the air.

Hello. I am in a 8 team PPR and Point Per Rush league with a SuperFlex. I have the number 1 overall pick and the 1.08-2.01 turn pick. Should I consider taking Lamar and Patrick Mahomes at the turn?
Kyle Yates
1:26
I personally wouldn't...I'm fine with drafting one QB, but the position points disparity from QB2 to QB8 or wherever isn't enough for me to neglect my RB position. Especially in a format like the one you're playing in. I'd look to grab a QB and RB at that turn and then snag another QB on the next turn.

1:27
Is a 2021 mid first round pick too much to pay for Kenyan Drake right now? Or do you think the owner would want more? (1 QB full PPR)
Kyle Yates
1:28
You'll never know how an owner values a player until you talk to them about it. However, I would want another player back for Kenyan Drake so that I'm not losing one of my top assets and I'm unable to replace them until 2021. I'd want to compete this season, so I'd need another RB in return for the pick. The only way this works is if the Dynasty owner is in a declared full-season rebuild.

Would you trade Davante Adams for Travis Kelce, Courtland Sutton and 2021 2nd Round Draft Pick? My RBs are Saquon and Mixon. Other WRs are Mike Evans and DJ Moore. TEs are Noah Fant and Dallas Goedert. I've been going back n forth all day and some advice from a fantasy pro like Kyle would be amazing!
Kyle Yates
1:30
This is an extremely fair offer, in my opinion. However, there is a legitimate path for Davante Adams to finish as THE WR1 in 2020. While building depth would be really nice, especially this season, it'd be very difficult for me to move on from Adams this year.

2 different rosters. Which rb trio are you taking? Josh jacobs, cmc, and kenyan drake, or Zeke,  Dalvin cook and Todd Gurley.

Which one has CMC? I'll take that one. :)

Do you think Chris Herndon can be a viable season long starter in a 10 person standard dynasty league?
