Under Gase? It's not great. Maybe the RB10-12 range, and that's pushing it.

Philip Rivers comeback this year? Going from basically worst O-line to best (and he's...not mobile)? Reunion with Frank Reich?
Mike Tagliere
1:18
Yeah, I don't hate Rivers as much as some, but it's a problem with zero offseason, as he has zero chemistry with any pass catchers. He's a streamer, not someone I'd draft.

10-team league; you’re at the 3/4 turn, and have a clear RB1 and WR1 already. CEH, Gurley, Conner, Juju, Odell, and DJ Moore are all on the board. Which two do you take?
Mike Tagliere
1:19
Oh man, that's a dream scenario. I'd be taking JuJu and Odell personally, but if you wanted to go JuJu and CEH, I'd be good with that, too.

Hey Mike, I have the 5th overall pick in a 1QB dynasty league rookie draft. I’m thinking Lamb or Jeudy, unless Dobbins falls. I like the value for RBs later on, such as McFarland, Gibson, Moss, etc. thoughts on going (hopefully) stud receiver at pick 1.05?
Mike Tagliere
1:19
Jeudy ALL DAY. I can't believe how far he's falling. Dynasty owners will be looking back and kicking themselves in a few years.

Tags, do I need to focus more on depth with Covid?  I usually like to have 3 starting RBs but this year I feel I need 5
Mike Tagliere
1:21
You don't need 5 starting running backs, but you need to have backup running backs on your bench. Snag the high upside guys like Latavius, Pollard, Dobbins, Duke Johnson, etc.
To further the point, I will have more backup running backs on my roster than ever in 2020. Replacement wide receivers aren't guaranteed targets. Replacement running backs are. The bench spots should be reserved for a lot of them.

What's Bobby's worst take so far this year?  Thx.

Haha... Umm, that steak is the best sandwich topping. Like, what?

In redraft leagues, do you feel there’s a risk of drafting players in Covid hotspot areas (I.e Houston, Carolina, Florida)?
Mike Tagliere
1:22
I can't say that I do. These players aren't going to be out in public. If they  haven't gotten it already, they've probably done a good job protecting themselves.

.5 PPR, 10 team, keep 2 (all can be kept this season and next other than Conner who would only be for this season). Robert Woods - round 4, Godwin - 5, Kupp - 6, Conner - 10, Mark Andrews - 12. I’m thinking Godwin and Conner despite Conner burning me last year. Which 2 do you keep? Thank you sir!
Mike Tagliere
1:23
Godwin for a 5th is an easy one. The other one is either Kupp for a 6th or Andrews for a 12th. I'm leaning Andrews in the 12th because you'll need to find RBs in the first half of the draft.

Julian Edelman or David Johnson as a keeper this year? No draft pick penalty.
Mike Tagliere

I'll take the risk with DJ. If he's healthy, he's getting 15-plus touches per game.

Hey Mike, I’m picking at the 14 slot in a 14 team 0.5 PPR BLM league with the following roster construction. QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, TE, FLEX, DEF, 5 BN. I’ve done a lot of mocks on FantasyPros and have come to the conclusion that doubling up at RB with my first two picks is the route I want to go, and then take many shots at WR from rounds 3 on (unless value at another position falls). If you agree, which RB’s would you be targeting specifically at the 14/15 turn, and if you disagree, what would you do? Thanks.
Mike Tagliere

I NEVER walk into a draft with a strategy. That doesn't mean I'm not aware of what is probable. I'd probably advise at staying away from 2 running backs at that spot, as you won't be getting an ELITE one, and if you pass on wide receivers there, you won't get an ELITE one at the 3/4 turn. You need top-tier talent. In fact, if there's a big run on running backs in the first round, I may go WR/WR. Just don't reach for anyone. Those first two picks NEED to be good ones for your dynasty squad.

Hunt or Singletary as my 6th keeper? 10 team 0 ppr.
Mike Tagliere
1:26
I'm shooting for upside in a 10 team, so give me Hunt.

Do you apologize to your wife when she's upset even if you know you're right?
Mike Tagliere

Haha, of course I do. I know that she does the same with me.

I loved the "draft cheat sheet" you posted last year. All fantasy players on one sheet in order or your rankings. I made notes on the cheat sheat from seperate articles of yours as to where in the draft you were taking them (e.g. Chris Carson mid 4th round). Can you post something like that again this year? Thanks
Mike Tagliere
1:27
Hey Ben, thanks for the support. I'll absolutely be doing that again this year. In fact, don't tell anyone, but I'm also working on The Primer: Draft Day Edition. That will have more information than you'll ever need.

In a league where we can keep one player so long as that player was drafted in the 4th round or later.  Can keep them for up to 2 more seasons, with it costing a round higher pick each year.  This year, we can keep either Mahomes with it costing a 7th round pick (would be last time he could be kept) or L Jackson with it costing an 8th round pick (could also keep him in 21).  What should we do?
Mike Tagliere
1:28
I'd be keeping Jackson. They're so close in rankings, but getting him a round cheaper, and with an additional year?

Thoughts on touchdown upside for non-premium TE's this year based on expected QB play?  (Jarwin/Hockenson vs. Henry/Fant as examples)
Mike Tagliere
1:29
I follow the targets at tight end. With that being said, Jarwin and Hockenson are excellent late-round picks. Hayden Hurst will be on 90 percent of my teams, though.

At what point do you throw out lack of college WR production for guys like DK Metcalf, Terry McClaurin, and Deebo Samuel? Is it reasonable to expect them to sustain NFL success when they were never great producers in college?
Mike Tagliere
1:30
I don't care about college numbers, it's one of the most overrated stats that people use. There are so many variables that go into college production, I could do an entire article explaining why they're somewhat worthless. In some instances they matter (comparing them to teammates), but in most, they don't.

do you think joe burrow will be a top 10 qb by the end of the season?
Mike Tagliere
1:31
It's one of my bold predictions. I wouldn't say that it has a greater than 25 percent chance of happening, especially with no preseason games, but the upside is certainly there. I'll be snagging him off waivers after the Week 1 game against the Chargers.

Right now my rb3 options in my dynasty league are swift and rojo. Should I be looking to make a move or sit with these two?
Mike Tagliere
1:32
If those are your RB3 options, you're perfectly fine.
MIKE
1:32
What's the best draft slot (other than 1) for 12 team half PPR?  Thx
Mike Tagliere
1:32
I'd take No. 3 personally. I'd be getting Zeke because Barkley will go No. 2.

Rank these players please. Austin Eckler, Kenyan Drake, Nick Chubb, Mixon
Mike Tagliere

Mixon/Drake (basically tied), Chubb, Ekeler.
