It's not important at all. They're playing completely different roles. I don't reach for guys on the same team.

In a Dynasty SF league, with a #1 QB = R Wilson, for your 2nd QB would you rather have the youth + upside of J Burrow or the mid age + proven production of M Stafford for an every week starter?
Mike Tagliere
2:45
Burrow, 100 percent.

Hey Tags! I generally try to be one of the last guys in my league to draft a QB (6 pts per passing TD) and just stream the position. Based on early-season matchups, I'll probably be targeting Wentz, but if I miss out on him, who would be the next-best QB to target outside of the current FP top-12 in ADP/ECR based on their early-season matchups? Thanks!
Mike Tagliere
2:46
I haven't studied the early-season matchups just yet, but Bobby was saying that Garoppolo might be a decent streamer right out of the gate.

I have the 8th pick in a standard league and I'm heavily leaning Mixon. If he goes before 8 though, Derrick Henry is likely the guy that'd end up falling to me (I know my league-mates pretty well). I don't really feel comfortable with Henry and his early-season mediocrity / lack of passing-game usage, but would I be wrong to pass up on him and take someone going later (especially in standard)? If not, who would you pick there instead?
Mike Tagliere
2:47
I'd take Henry in a standard league there, but understand your concern. His lack of passing game involvement is a lot less concerning in standard formats. If you wanted someone else, I'd look at Kenyan Drake.

which side you like best in dynasty superflex?  Dak and C Kirk or Burrows and Ridley?
Mike Tagliere
2:47
I'll take Burrow and Ridley.

what would you expect in a trade for Mattison in a Dynasty league with the Cook holdout potentially looming?
Mike Tagliere
2:48
If you can get a future 1st, that would be the best-case scenario. He's worth more than just a 2nd round pick at this moment.
Eric

would you rather draft Travis Kelce or Chris Godwin in round 2 half ppr to pair with an RB? Love the podcast!!
Mike Tagliere
2:48
I'd probably lean with Godwin, but they're right next to each other on my big board.

Any reason to keep Hunter Renfrow?  or should he be trade bait?
Mike Tagliere
2:48
No, I'd trade him. Don't even want to roster him in a redraft league.
Brandon
2:49
How do you feel about Jordan Love and Jalen Hurts?  should I target either in my draft or wait for next year and try to grab Lawrence, Lance or Fields?  I will probably finish near the top of the league and would need to trade into the first 3 picks next year
Mike Tagliere
2:49
I'd take Hurts as a bench stash with how much time Wentz has missed over the years. I wouldn't trade into the top three picks for a QB.

It feels like the fantasy community is under-valuing Darren Waller. The biggest argument is usually his splits with and without Renfrow, but even if Renfrow played all 16 games, Waller still would've topped 1,000 yards based on extrapolated stats, which is HUGE for a TE (and are we really being scared off by the involvement of HUNTER RENFROW?). Plus, his 3 TDs is absolutely due for positive regression, the Raiders' RBs combined for only 111 targets last year (and Washington is gone), and frankly, Lynn Bowden seems overhyped to me. This feels like a guy that should be the slam dunk TE3 and going in the late 3rd/early 4th, yet he's ranked as the TE5 going in the late 5th. What gives?
Mike Tagliere
2:51
It's a combination of things. I love Waller the player, but his opportunity will go down, and not because of Renfrow. Bowden will get some looks, Jacobs will be used a bit more in the passing game, Witten was signed to do something, and you have Ruggs who'll get 75-plus targets. That's not even mentioning Bryan Edwards. Only so many targets to go around in an offense that's not particularly exciting.

2:51
Do you see Metcalf overtaking Lockett as the primary target for Wilson?
Mike Tagliere
2:52
I see it as a 1A/1B situation. If the Seahawks throw the ball 550 times, I can see Metcalf outtargeting Lockett, yes.

Thx again for your time. *DYNASTY* Keenan Allen's contract is up after this year. If the Chargers let him walk would that make Mike Williams a legit WR1? Much appreciated & stay safe.
Mike Tagliere
2:53
Williams wouldn't be a WR1 in fantasy, but would likely become a consistent fantasy option. How good? Well, that depends on Herbert. If they let Allen walk, they're drafting a WR or signing one.

Hi Tags. Curious what your long term opinion of Aaron Jones is? I think he is easily a top 10 talent at the position, and arguably top 5. Do the Packers resign him and let Williams walk next year? If not, where do you think his most likely landing spot is? As always appreciate your work!
Mike Tagliere
2:54
Love Aaron Jones the talent and do believe he walks in free agency knowing how the Packers have approached the backfield. Could see him with the Falcons or Jaguars next year.
Winston

Thanks again for your time, you are appreciated. *DYNASTY* RB Zack Moss feels like he could be a strong candidate to see his role expand during the season. What do you think? Stay safe.
Mike Tagliere
2:56
I love Moss as a player, provided he can stay healthy. The Bills are clearly planning a role for him, but Singletary won't go away. I'm expecting him to be an RB3/flex type running back with Singletary on the field.
Rugrat

Thanks for your time. In Dynasty what are your thoughts on TE's Kmet and Trautman? Can you see them taking over TE1 territory in the near future? Stay safe & thanks again.
Mike Tagliere
2:57
Yeah, Kmet is someone who's a bit undervalued in dynasty drafts. Don't think he'll ever be a Kelce/Kittle, but he should be a consistent player in a few years.

Love your content Tags & thanks in advance! Which positions are you fading most in redraft this year? And who's your favorite garbage time player for 2020?
Mike Tagliere
2:58
I'm waiting on tight end with Hayden Hurst so cheap. Favorite garbage time player? John Ross.
