I'd personally love to have CEH and Miles Sanders. Both are within my top-8 at the position. I'd love to load up RB there and take advantage of the WR depth later on.

If you wait on QB, who are your favourite mid to late round QB targets? I've seen a bit of love for Daniel Jones, but he has a brutal schedule to start. I think he'll be free on the waiver wire come weeks 4-5.
Kyle Yates
1:30
Yeah, I'm not going anywhere near Daniel Jones until Week 10 at the earliest. Brutal schedule. I love Cam Newton super late. He gets Miami in week one and he's a cheat code with his rushing ability. If he shows that he's fully healthy and back to his old self, you've got a QB1 for the entire season at QB21 in ADP. Otherwise, if he's not fully healthy, you can cut him and pick up someone else for Week 2. No harm, no foul.

Do you see Henry having a solid year for non ppr? O line is very solid..no coaching changes, no one behind him. TD machine? How would you rank your top 5 backs?
Kyle Yates
1:32
Absolutely. In a Standard league, I have Henry at RB5. The order goes:

  1. CMC
  2. Barkley
  3. Zeke
  4. Mixon
  5. Henry

Hi Kyle love the live chats. 10 team dynasty league standard scoring, auction draft. My backs are drake, j. Jacobs, cmc. Top 3 recievers godwin, lockett, and crowder. Ive got enough budget for 1 big time name, I'm thinking julio, but should I be looking for another big time back in case of rb injury or the chance of drake flaming out? Lots of playable recievers I could get on the cheaper end.  Keep up the good work.                                    Prov 3: 5-6

With those options, I'm all for going after someone like Julio to start constructing my WR room.

When trying to improve the accuracy of your rankings, what considerations have you taken this year that you may not have accounted for in previous seasons?
Kyle Yates
1:35
Last season was my first year in the accuracy competition and building out complete rankings, so this year has been all about taking the things I learned about the scoring metrics and trying to build those out into my rankings template. I'm incorporating as much information as I can from previous seasons, such as RZ Rushing/RZ Receiving, team pass/rush percentages, etc. It's all about taking the information that's in front of you and trying to put it all together in a way that makes sense and completes the puzzle. I'm sure next year, I'll have a ton of stuff that I'll tweak, but that's how it goes. You live and you learn and continue to strive to deliver the most accurate advice that you can!

I haven’t heard much chatter this offseason about Diontae Johnson. How do you view him? Do you take Him or Lazard in .5 pt PPR?
Kyle Yates
1:37
I love Diontae Johnson this year. There was a lot of chatter about him early on this offseason, but that's died down as of late. He can play and he has a great opportunity in front of him. I currently have him as a low-end WR3.

How early are you willing to draft Antonio Gibson in a 12 team ppr league?
Kyle Yates
1:37
I'm willing to draft him as my RB5. If I can get him there, where I don't need to rely on him, but have him on my roster for the potential upside, I'm good with that.

What do you see the Panthers doing with DJ Moore? Will they put him in the slot or expect him to line up at X or Z. Big difference in my mind. Best opportunity to utilize his YAC skill would be to line him up on the inside. Slot targets preferred by Bridgewater. I remember in a couple of his relief appearances of Brees, the Saints maximized his chances of getting the ball to Thomas by sneaking #13 in the slot and requiring less air yards from him. What do you all think? Thanks for this opportunity!
Kyle Yates
1:39
He'll be on the field constantly, we know that. He'll very rarely come off the field, so he's a solid fantasy option in the mid-rounds. I expect Anderson to always be the option on the outside and could line up at X (on the line of scrimmage) if we see Moore move inside. I fully expect him to see near 150 targets this season and he's a fantastic low-end WR1/high-end WR2 option in Full PPR leagues.

What defenses in PPR leagues will out perform their current ADP?  Looking for a cheap sleeper Def in the auction draft of my dynasty league
Kyle Yates

Keep an eye on the Philadelphia Eagles DST to start the season. Great matchups to begin the year and should get off to a hot start.

Hey Kyle, league set up is Half-PPR and rosters 1 QB, 2 RBs, 2 WRs, 3 Flex (RB/WR/TE).  Already keeping Austin Ekeler (5th RD) and Terry McLaurin (16th RD).  Should my last keeper be Kyler Murray (10th RD) or Devante Parker (10th RD)?  Thanks a ton!
Kyle Yates
1:41
In a 1QB league, I'm good with passing on Kyler and picking up someone else later. I want the WR depth when I have to potentially start 5 of them with your FLEX spots.

In 12 teams 2 WR/2RB 1 Flex PPR  leagues I am finding it very difficult to start WR/WR even if the WRs are at great value. ie(MT/Julio, Adams/Julio) as my leagues are often heavy rb early. In round 3/4 these are my options: Reach for a RBs, often the best RBs left would be Ingram/Montgomery by the end of Rd. 3  or go Zero RB and grab 2 of a QB, WR, TE.
Kyle Yates
1:42
I'm in completely the same boat. Check out our latest Mock Draft video that we just did on Monday over at youtube.com/fantasypros. Dan Harris started out with Michael Thomas and he wasn't a fan of how his team turned out in the end. I like loading up on RBs early.

Would like your opinion on a keeper.  In our league I can keep 1 of the these 3 from my team last year.  Godwin for a 5th round pick, Conner for a 13th, or AJ Green for a 17th.
Kyle Yates
1:43
Godwin for a 5th round pick is a steal. Even though AJ Green or Conner are great values, they come with way too many question marks. Godwin's gonna be in top-5 WR discussion all season long.

Who would rather have as a 3rd Rb?  Carson, Swift or Ingram.  1/2 ppr.  Keep up the good work.
Kyle Yates
1:45
As my 3rd RB, I'm fine with Carson. He comes with the most upside and if I can get him where I don't need to rely on him, I'm comfortable with that.

In my 10 team PPR dynasty league. I have the #2 rookie pick. Currently have Justice Hill on my roster. Do I take JK Dobbins over J Taylor to own the Ravens backfield for the next 4 years+? Or is J Taylor the better choice?(Current RBs are Kamara, Chubb, Kerryon Johnson, & J Hill) so I can wait 1 year for Ingram to leave. Thanks!
Kyle Yates
1:46
Even in a Dynasty league, I want the guy that can contribute to my roster right away. While Dobbins has immense upside if Ingram misses time, JT is going to be on the field right away and should be a great fantasy option. If I need to next offseason, I can go trade JT for Dobbins + someone else and leverage his Dynasty stock.
Kyle
1:46
Hey Kyle, like the name and your work @FantasyPros. In a Dynasty PPR League would you trade all 2021 picks + a 2022 2nd for E. Elliot? Thanks Kyle
Kyle Yates
1:48
This is a good question. It all depends on what the rest of my roster looks like...am I ready to compete this year and Zeke could push my roster over the top? Then I'm fine making that trade with all the uncertainty next year. If I'm not going to compete this year, I'm fine holding onto those draft picks because we could still see some very talented players enter the draft next year.

Great work on the Podcast!  I'm drafting 8th in a full PPR.  If the top 3 WRs are gone, is Mixon worth # 8 overall?
Kyle Yates
1:49
Thank you so much! I'm fine with that. In a Full PPR, I'd consider CEH over Mixon, but I'm not going to fault you for drafting Mixon there.

Love the YouTube channel and wish you guys the best. Would you put any thought into attempting a sort of Zero RB early approach this season given that if a player gets COVID they seem to have to miss 2 games?
Kyle Yates
1:51
In regards to Covid-19 and its effect on fantasy football, I don't think that it should impact our specific strategy. There's no rhyme or reason to who is going to contract this virus and miss several games. However, the steps your league should be taking are adding additional bench spots and additional IR spots. Make sure that there's more room for players in your leagues so that way people aren't having to drop Alvin Kamara to the waiver wire because he's out for three weeks with Covid, for example.

What is the absolute earliest you would consider Sanders? Is he a viable PPR RB1?
Kyle Yates

I have Sanders at RB8 right now in Full PPR leagues. Love him this year.

Hi Kyle, I'm intrigued by the whole idea of stashing possible league winners, like Latavius Murray, on the bench.  There are lots of injuries and bye weeks, and here you are using a spot on a guy who has only a very small possibility of being useful.  Also, even if he does play in a given week, that may be a week where you just don't need him. It seems a lot of stars need to align for this sort of move to pay dividends.  Can you help me out with what I'm missing.
Kyle Yates
1:54
It's all about the reward and looking at the players going around him. While James White may have some value as a RB3 this season, there's no upside with him. He's a safe option to plug in, but he's not going to bring any sort of upside. Whereas with guys like Murray, he could have standalone value (like we saw Mark Ingram have with Alvin Kamara previously) and yet possesses top-5 upside if he's the clear starter. In that instance, you can plug him in if injuries hit your lineup or you can trade him to the Kamara owner. Hopefully that makes sense.

Hey Kyle! I’ve got a keeper question that I still can’t quite figure out. I’m in an 8 team non-PPR league. I don’t know whether to keep Godwin in 4th, Golladay in the 5th, or Ekeler in the 9th. Also been considering Mark Andrews in the 17th. What would be better, talent or value?
Kyle Yates
1:56
All of those are super tempting, but it's hard to look at Andrews in the 17th and pass that by...he's someone that you'd be able to plug in at the TE position and never think about again for the price of a 17th rounder. I'd personally probably be going there.
