Hey everyone, thanks for stopping by the chat! We’re nearing fantasy football season, so we’ll be hosting these chats in the coming weeks. If I don’t get to your question, make sure to ask on Twitter @MikeTagliereNFL, as that’s where I’ll answer questions throughout most days. Let’s get to it.

Dynasty PPR league, this trade was sent my way: I’d be sending J. Taylor, J. Jefferson and M. Hardman and receiving Dj Chark, P. Campbell, C. Akers, K. Hunt and a 2021 early second 2-4. My RB corps consists of Taylor, Montgomery, Cohen, Breida and Vaughn. My WR corps consists of Parker, Jefferson, Hardman, Higgins, Pittman, Sheppard... Am I crazy to even consider this trade?
Mike Tagliere
12:57
I would hang onto Taylor, as he's easily the most valuable piece of that trade. I need to clearly win a trade if I'm losing the best player, and this ain't it.

12 team PPR keeper league. No picks are tagged to keepers. Trying to decide my third keeper between D.J. Moore, Calvin Ridley, & Lamar Jackson. Moore & Ridley just seem so close and I seem to flip-flop daily on them. I don't see myself keeping Jackson as the smart money is to keep a WR, but it's just hard to cut bait with him. Thanks!

This all comes down to overall rankings, and as much as I love Ridley and Moore, it's tough to pass on Jackson over them. I think you can get Ridley back cheaper than you could Jackson. It's essentially Jackson or Ridley for an early 4th round pick (where he's going).

PPR keeper league - 12 teams. My keepers are Saquon, Kamara, & D.J. Moore. I have 3rd pick overall. CEH is the likely 1st pick so I am most likely going to be considering a group of Allen Robinson, Josh Jacobs, Calvin Ridley, & Lamar Jackson at my pick. Who do you like best among that group of four considering my keepers, 2020 projections, and future keeper possibilities? Thanks!

I'm probably going with Jacobs considering you already have Moore as a semi-stable WR1. Robinson is in the conversation, but Jacobs' ADP will only rise next year, provided he's used as they've stated.

Is it worth stashing Damien Harris in 10 team PPR league with only 5 bench spots? My other rbs are Saquon, MG and ROJO.
Mike Tagliere
1:00
Ehh, you can, but be willing to cut bait after Week 1 if he's not heavily involved. A report did come out today that he's getting a lot of work in camp.

Out of Jacobs, Mixon, Drake and Sanders, who has the best chance to finish as top 5 RB?
Mike Tagliere
1:02
Top-5? That comes down to scoring opportunities, so I don't believe Jacobs gets there. Mixon needs his offense to take a big step forward, but also plays in a tough division with tough matchups. So, it'd come down to Drake or Sanders for me. Since we've already seen Drake do it for half a season (was the No. 4 RB since joining the Cardinals), I'll say him.

Looking for a RB2 and 3 who would you suggest.
Mike Tagliere

That's a loaded question. Here are a list of my RB tiers: https://www.fantasypros.com/2020/08/mike-taglieres-running-back-rankin...

Sammy's injury open the door for Hardman?
Mike Tagliere
1:03
The door was already creaking open. I'm a big fan of getting Hardman on my fantasy bench, but wouldn't want to rely on him as a starter until we've seen an increased workload.

With the Eagles coaching staff telling Miles Sanders that he’s the guy this year, could this catapult him into finishing in the top 3 overall by the end of the season?
Mike Tagliere
1:04
Could it? Sure. Will it? Maybe... the offensive line has already dealt with a big loss, and moving Jason Peters to guard may not work out as well as they hope. Still, he plays for a high-scoring offense with an above average O-line, and has three-down ability.

1 keeper, 12 team standard league, 1 QB, 2 RB, 3WR, no flex.  My draft position is 12-13.  But, due to Kamara and /chubb as keepers, my pick is effectively 14-15.  I need to keep one:  Aaron Jones costs my second pick, Josh Allen costs me a 14th.  If I keep Allen, Mock drafts usually provide me 2-3 or the following 4:  Josh Jacobs, Joe Mixon, Drake or A. Jones.  Is the keeping of Jones worth the value loss of Allen?
Mike Tagliere
1:06
I'm not a fan of Allen as an every-week starter in fantasy, but I'd rather have him as a 14th than miss out on one of those other players. Mixon or Drake, specifically.

Is Keenan Allen a steal at his current ADP?
Mike Tagliere
1:06
Not really. He's not a double-digit touchdown guy and the offense will drop 100-plus pass attempts this offseason. A VERY good football player, but opportunity is very important. He's a high-end WR3 in my book.

Who is the 49ers receiver to own now that Hurd is hurt too?
Mike Tagliere
1:07
I suppose it's Brandon Aiyuk, though I don't believe his skill set is where a No. 1 receiver's needs to be.

PPR 10-team 5th pick. RB or Michael Thomas?
cool 2
Mike Tagliere
1:08
I'm likely leaning with Thomas there due to it being a 10-team league. You want elite players, no matter the position. You can get a rock-solid RB in the 2nd round of a 10-team. 12-team leagues are different.

Amari Cooper or Calvin Ridley?
Mike Tagliere
1:09
You're tearing me apart. Love both of these guys, but Cooper is my choice (they're right next to each other in my rankings).

Would you draft Clyde Edwards-Helaire over Davante Adams in Full PPR? RBs are flying off the board this year in the first couple rounds. Seems like you can always get value at WR later.
Mike Tagliere
1:09
Yeah, I probably would, though I'm torn when I have that choice myself. I just don't want to get stuck with someone like Aaron Jones or Austin Ekeler as my RB1.

in a 14 man ppr that has two Rb's Two Wr's and Two W/R/T Flex spots one D one QB and one K how important would it be to grab a rb in the first two rounds and in the first two rounds any suggestions on the turn
Mike Tagliere
1:10
In a 14-team, RBs are necessary early. After the top three WRs, there's quite a bit of parity, so I'm attacking the RB position early on.
Michael
1:11
I know you love all three of these guys, but if you had to choose two to be your starting wide receivers (WR1 and WR2), who are you taking between OBJ, Calvin Ridley, and Robert Woods? Assume RBs are taken first two rounds.
Mike Tagliere
1:11
OBJ and Ridley for me, though Woods is a VERY safe WR2.

Standard League 2 QB pick 4. Lamar Barkley and CMC are gone. I’ve been in this league with the same players for 10 years. Pretty much a guarantee I can grab either Dak-Russ-Kyler-Watson in Rd 3 based on how my opponents draft in previous drafts. Do I still go Mahomes or draft either Zeke, Henry, Kamara?
Mike Tagliere
1:12
If you know for a fact that you can get Dak or Wilson in the 2nd or 3rd, I'd lean with Zeke. If it's not guaranteed, I might go Mahomes and then wait to grab someone like Gardner Minshew late.

With Deebo Samuel likely out for the beginning of the season, and the recent news that Jalen Hurd is likely out for the year with a torn ACL, how high is rookie Brandon Aiyuk’s ceiling?
Mike Tagliere
1:13
It's rising for sure, but when I scouted him, I said that he should be a No. 2 to start his career, as there's some refining necessary. Best case, he's a WR3.

.5 PPR keeper league. Who would you rather have? Melvin Gordon in the 7th round or Calvin Ridley in the 8th? Thank you for your response!
Mike Tagliere
1:13
This is easily Ridley for me, as I'd take him over Gordon on a level playing field.

What would be your ideal redraft league roster setup for 2020? How many QB, RB, WR slots? Flex vs. Superflex and how many bench and IR spots?
