Yeah, I'd cut at $10 ... and realize how much that hurts after 2023. Keep decisions for Bradish is very price-dependent for me ... this is too much.

Hi Brent, In a 5x5 NL-only keeper league with SV+H.  For my last keeper spot I have Stephenson at C $6 and really don't want to keep him, but most good catchers will be frozen.  I also have Nardi at $1, and HQ seems to be real high on him.  Your thoughts?

Yeah, Stephenson is fine at $6, but with a $1 Nardi as an option in Sv+Holds, I think that's the play. Relievers are a crapshoot of course ... but even in an NL-only, you can move on / replace Nardi pretty easily if he doesn't do well.

12 team 5X5 AL only $260 salary - Keep, trade or cut the following:  $4 Austin Wells, $1 Estevan Florial, $3 Lawrence Butler and $3 Bryan Abreu?  There hasn't been much of a trade market for these guys this offseason so I am trying to determine if I am overvaluing them.

I play this a Keep vs [trade or cut] (2 options), b/c if you're not keeping and you can make a deal, it's almost always better for you than straight cutting. That out of the way ...
Keep: Wells, Florial*
Trade or cut: Butler and Abreu
*caveat here is to gather as much info as you can before you make the call. IE .. he's not playing in spring and seems like he's AAA depth, then he gets cut. Does that mean Butler replaces him? Not sure... $3 not terrible, should be some opp in OAK, but on the other hand he's also seems like waiver wire material.

Thank you for the insights! 12-Team, AL-Only 4x4 Roto Keeper ($260 budget). 1.)  Is it crazy to keep the TEX trio of A. Garcia ($17), E. Carter ($12), and W. Langford ($10)?  
2.) I have a top end 3B cheap(single digit), does it make sense to take the flier on keeping Junior Caminero at $10?

  1. No, though probably Langford > Carter for me if you feel you have to cut 1.
  2. Borderline; would probably throw back at $10. If I knew he was making TAM out of the gate, tho, a keeper.

12 team standard H2H cats league 5 OFs and MI+CI. Auction draft season approaching, whats your strategy this year for the early stages of an auction? Are you going in on one of the big 3 at $50ish? Trying to double up on the late round 1 options? Avoiding risk with your early investments? Thanks!

Try to read the room and react accordingly. Discipline, but ready to strike when necessary. That's my strategy early on.

Brent; I'm in an 8-team AL-only dynasty league with a $300 draft day budget. I have M. Trout at $54 & if I keep him for '24, it will count against my budget. Given his injury risk, should I gamble and keep him?

Loving the Cubs farm system, but concerned about players getting roadblocked. In love with Cade Horton and Matt Shaw, but concerned they're not going to get a midseason shot. If they're Septemberish call ups they're not worth nearly as much. What do you think?

Have you considered offering a service for 30 minutes to sit down and give personalized feedback on our team and the league we are in? Shooting you one to two questions a week just doesn’t feel like enough.

Have not ... back in the day with HQ, we did some personalized feedback service ... was a bear to administrate. We DO offer this service in a way at our in-person and online conferences, though. Appreciate the thoughts; and I try to answer each question here this week -- though this one was a stretch!
