Curious about getting an insurance rider for my original art. What value would I use? As it is one of a kind.

Jason...insurance is super-tricky for comic art. Very tough to get appraised. It's why so many use Collectibles Insurance...because YOU tell them what it's worth, and they set your premium based on that. Very easy. But also not without its potential issues.

The Heritage viewings kill me because they're always in the middle of the work day... Too much of a trek to get to beverly hills between 2 and 4 or whatever weird hours they have.

Neil...you don't have to go the day of the auction...the art is available to view before that, too. Although if that time of day is never good, you may still be stuck. I *think* there may be some opportunity on weekends, though...you should call them to find out. If you need a contact, PM me.

Will Tradd Moore's future art be priced as high as on Silver Surfer Black? Have we reached a threshold pricing-wise? Or will it be more budget-friendly depending on his future projects?

Pricing largely depends on character, content, and context. (The 3 C's...did I just come up with something?:P) So if Tradd does Spider-Man next, then yes, it will be priced as high, if not higher. If he does the Aunt May mini-series...then not as much. Those you can have cheap lol.

Got a page that was penciled by hand and then inked digitally.  Made an executive decision to have the inker ink over the pencils by hand.  Wasn't an easy decision to make, but I like the idea of this being the only hand inked page in the team's run.

Excited: The sheer amount of talent working today. The bar is so high for artists...maybe as high as it's ever been.
Nervous: Publishers continuing strategizing for short term. Would prefer the powers-that-be take longer term view.

Thanks Tom, I'll take a look, I think it didn't survive my quick flip test, but that's never a sure way of telling. They did get me with the Dr Strange one this week though. Venom Island on the other hand... (hahahah) - I'm definitely interested to see where that goes.

Pat...not sure yet, will depend on Paul. He's got a HUGE announcement coming this year...if it's going to be announced at NYCC, then he will likely make an appearance. And if he does, we'll try to set something up!

Felix:  Yeah, I know I'm going against the norm, but I'm happy with the decision.  I also like the idea of the page traveling across different part of the globe before coming to me.
