Haha! Pretty typical! Why spring for a scanner or frames when that money can go to art? I know plenty of collectors who feel that way.

Frame a couple and hang them up...I bet you'll find you enjoy the art in a whole new way.
I used to hang a lot of my art...it's a great feeling.

@Tyler...no joke here: I know a guy with a world class collection...who worked as a stock boy in a drug store. Lived in parents' basement. Ate ramen. No car. But some of the best comic art ever. Worth it?

I lost track a bit so I'm probably very behind the conversations but got very interest in Harren new book, I allways love more own creation works by artists and hope DWJ will take that path again in the future so I can jump on it, but hope he enjoys the ride of doing what he is doing now.

@Joao...DWJ will be writing/drawing his own material. He feels very strongly about that. Unless an Alan Moore throws a script at him, I don't see that changing.

@Joao I’m with you on creator owned books, although I do dabble in big two art from time to time, but this WW book feels like a creator owned book, it just happens to have familiar characters.

I enjoyed GHOST FLEET a lot. But yes, missing a bit of that DWJ touch. No one can tug on the heartstrings like DWJ. Because it's sincere and authentic. Not cynical or manipulative. Anyone who meets Dan knows for sure!

@ Felix, great to know about DWJ and I also think he can be very excused if Alan Moore will throw him a script so he can do his magic :). And of course I'm also very curious about Ian LB new book, can't waiit! :)

@keith b @rudra @felix Oh I am feeling the framing pressure from all sides. Worst part is I already have a lot of prints from bands/artists up already (in the cheap plastic frames). It's a whole thing. I don't know what I should take down/leave up, but the moral here is I probably need to get some art up. My friend Aaron is definitely going to pile on to this. haha

@ Morgan, I believe it but it's kind of a barrier for me for stupid as it might sound when the familiar characters of Marvel and DC are on the books, and with this I'm not saying I don't like those books, because I also do and read them sometimes
