@Felix  Nic mentioned artist choice commissions and DWJ noted a commission with any 2 Star Wars characters--anyone ever not thrilled with the outcome of a broad "artist's choice" commission? Just curious. I'm sure when those that have opted for them absolutely love the artist and go for it. Not sure I could personally take that leap-I've always lived by the "buy what you love" mantra-but I'm intrigued!

@Jimmy...can't recall off the top of my head...or at least, can't recall anyone saying anything about it...anyone who chooses Artist's Choice has to be prepared for anything...including disappointment...it's the ultimate commission gamble...but less so with time, as there are more completed examples to review. So far, everyone I've talked to has loved what they've gotten! But remember, I can only speak for us, I can't speak for other reps/artists who have borrowed the concept.

@Jimmy with Felix’s artists, you have the benefit of tons of examples posted on social media for each artist. I got an artist’s choice piece from Ian Bertram this year, but I wouldn’t have done that had I not been blown away by everything that had been posted before.

@Jimmy Lawrence, I've done it a few times because I know the freedom feeling that I get when I'm asked to do artist choice.  It's a nice way to tell someone you believe in their stuff, but thats coming from someone who is a peer, so it may be a bit different than from a collectors mind, etc.

@DWJ - Yep.  Those were the options.  I think you'd have done amazing work on all 3.  The John Wick is spectacular though.

I an Bertram artists choice are amazing. I think if youre into a chracter you should probably ask for that, artsist choice could literally be anything, not even from comics... Itll probably be great, because I have the feeling most artists produce good work when left to their own devices.. but it may not be to your liking... its a tough call.

@Nic...I think anyone getting a Artist's Choice from Ian, especially, knows they won't be getting anything licensed...it will certainly be something fucked-up straight out of his head! And that's what everyone wants!
