I've got another one.  Side note #3 - Dragon Con is taking further steps and requiring either vax proof or a negative test within 72 hours of picking up a badge.  NYC is requiring vax for all indoor events, so you'll need proof of vax at NYCC.

@Marcus Because I'm in advertising and do some illustration, I always register as a PRO at cons. That Pro badge used to help me get away with so much, but nowadays, security is TIGHT.

@Ron Lim - In 2019, I had a great experience focused on comics & comic art at Dragon Con, but the s*** show is what makes it so magical.  Met Benno, actually.  Just a great dude.

@Felix, my favorite SDCC exclusive story was once I lined up at Bowen's booth for one of his con exclusive statues. The sign said not to form a line.

Security told me to beat it, but I said, "Hey, I'm just here checking out this booth. I can't help it if people line up behind me."

The guard got flustered and left. Ah, the good old days.

@Ron - Security IS tight! I hid in a bathroom at SDCC before it opened so I could be first in line for a Mignola piece and security came in the bathrooms and knocked on the stall doors 😆
