Gotta say this while I’m in a chat with the man himself. When I got back into reading comics as an adult, it was right when MP came out. I hadn’t read an indy comic since Spawn as a kid. I picked it up, and was blown away by it. It was my first introduction that comics could be more than superhero nonsense. They could be experimental and weird. I know you didn’t reinvent the wheel there, and were following in the footsteps of many great giants, but I hadn’t read them yet. That book got me exploring and opened up my world to comics. So, thanks for that, and  the ensuing fortune I’ve spent on comics and OA since, ya dick.

Jacob! Thanks so much for that. People do really seem to love MP and that means the world. I was just young and hungry and plowing forward, working with Hickman was a true blessing. I'm honored to have illustrated a comic that got you hooked to comics and OA like crack cocaine. Welcome to the club. We need an OA AA club.

Let's be clear. Unforgiven is the Dark Knight Returns of Westerns. The rest all mentioned here I love. Unforgiven is a freaking masterpiece.  I consider Ax-Wielder a barbarian western more so than a conan story, they are my favorites!

@reba I took a pick of a spider out that way with a battle ship behind it. Looked like the spider was eating the ship. Nightmare inducing
