@danT I like Desert Island in Brooklyn, great shop. and of course Jim Hanley's. There aren't many left! Also Forbidden Planet.

@DanT...I'm a Forbidden Planet fan. Back in the day (80s/90s), I LOVED the NYC comic shop scene. St. Marks, JHU, Forbidden Planet, all the hole in the wall places...heaven for comics fans.

@andyK I stand to draw because I have carpal tunnel and need to be active. So I draw standing. It's also why I have taken up rowing and I try to swim once a week. Don't get old!

@pulphope - Jim Hanley's was where I bought comics as a kid on Staten Island.  Ron used to let me take books out of the boxes before they hit the shelves.  I'll have to check out Desert Island.  St. Mark's just reopened in Industry City.
