Lord we ask for a breakthrough for those working on a vaccine for this virus. In Jesus mighty name we ask for protection for all those essential workers assisting those who are at risk and we ask for peace for those who are living in fear of this virus. We serve a mighty Lord who remains with us despite our circumstances so Lord I pray for all the countries around the world joining in this tsunami of prayer.  Lord, hear our prayers

Almighty God, wonderful Saviour, Holy Spirit we lift your name on High, you are love. We pray that your mighty power will stop the virus, that you will strengthen the immunity of those who are ill and heal them. We lift those who care for sick, stock grocery shelves, drive big trucks with supplies and many other essential workers - protect them. Please provide all essential things for those at home. May we take this time to draw closer to you. In Jesus name amen.

Territorial leadership (Suresh and Martha Pawars and Stephen and Theresa Malins) join from different homes in the Tsunami prayer wave....and seek the hand of God to move across our hurting world. 'There is a balm in Giliead....' and we pray for the great physician  to heal hurting scared folk on the island, we pray that food would be prepared and available for the needy, we pray for the staff - medical and government - who have played important roles in the fight against the virus on the island. We thank God for the Salvation Army worldwide and its amazing contribution to helping and supporting....and we pray continued strength and wisdom for our leaders going forward....

During this time of fear I pray for all affected by this virus. Those affected mildly that they may pause from life's crazy rush and hear you. For those too ill to know life that they will hear your word. For those breaking under the strain of caring that they may feel your power. Your love your strength the faith that has got me through rough times. For those in power that they will see statistics as people give them your love to share. Help them to open wide their arms to embrace  it.

Lord, we are so thankful for your love, grace, comfort, presence and peace during these crazy times. Where would we be without you? We’re thankful for all those on the frontline still serving and meeting the needs of the community; the first responders, TSA centres and Corps still working so hard to serve those in their communities, including other denominations and services who we’re working alongside.
lord, years ago a Government in another country restricted numbers for Christians joining together, closed churches.....and the church grew and flourished! May we see that too Lord, a growing and a flourishing in the body of the church all over the world!
