I am thankful the General included the prayer of lament as part of the prayer topics. Our God wants us to turn to Him in our troubles, express the deep emotions of our hearts, and affirm our trust in Him. Even when we can't seem to find Him, we know He journeys with us. Praying we will be led by Him during these days and that we will continue to accomplish His purposes for us.

My prayers this morning can seem a jumble, however the song on my heart this morning is “they need me, they need you, they need Christ.” What does that look like right now Lord? How do I best respond? Lord I lift to you those battling inner struggles which cannot be seen except by you. I pray Lord for those in hospitals around the world, including my own sweet mom, who cannot have a visitor, who relies on a call from family to have that family presence. Lord be with all faith nurses, Drs, and others who serve in hospitals, may they be that one touch for people today. Lord we pray that those working on a vaccine would be led by you.

Lord, it’s me again, I’m always needing you. Just received a call from my oldest son on his way to work, at Costco. It is very stressful days Lord for our front line workers. He shared with me again about new cases in Halifax since yesterday- over 100, at a seniors home- a lot of residents and workers- this is heart breaking. But you know all about this, we need a Miracle! Oh Wind of God blow your Holy Spirit over this earth, removed that Covid-19 virus 🦠, I ask in Jesus name. Protect, keep us all safe. I pray that you would bring them comfort and that they would know your peace. I pray also for those who live alone, who are cut of from family, may they rest in your presence.
