Let me try this again...accidentally sent the earlier message...how much would someone with considerable major league experience...maybe even success...like a Luke Voit or a Gary Sanchez make if they're playing in Triple A (and I understand that it would vary from player to player, but do you have any idea of the range of salaries they might make?)  And thanks for your patience with this.

Yeah the guys on the 40-man but not in the majors make more on average. Not sure on specifics now but the Associated Press reported during the lockout that minor leaguers who made the 40 for the first time had a minimum salary around $47K in 2021, with that number jumping to around $130K in year two

Oh, here's the updated info. It's now around $57K for year one and $114K for year two (for players on the 40-man but on optional assignment to Triple-A)
Overall, the Triple-A minimum is $700 a week during the season, so the distinction can be pretty significant

The second question about the salaries for veterans on minor league deals is harder because it's going to vary by player, as the questioner noted. They're likely going to be in six figures though

MLB games will always take to long unless they cut down on the foul balls but how to do that?  A rule like in softball?

What is the latest on Bally Sports ? We have not been able to watch Braves games for years. Thanks

Not sure the specifics on the Braves. Manfred said this week they were monitoring the Bally situation and could eventually step in to make sure those games get broadcast

He also said the goal is for MLB TV to eventually allow you to cherry-pick games you want to see (even those within market) but there's no timetable on when that might happen
