I like Aldegheri over Kochanowicz as a Manoah replacement.  I think the WBC has really helped showcase him.

I like Aldegheri more than Kochanowicz but not really excited about anyone in that mix unless they jump Klassen past Triple-A. Aldegheri pitched really well in the one WBC start but the Brazil lineup is like carving on a minor league rehab start

Hi Anthony, thanks for the chat. What do you think Luis Gil's season will look like? Had ace-caliber stuff in his rookie year but the velo and strikeouts haven't been there since he returned. He also looks a bit more hesitant on the mound, not letting it just fly like he did in 2024. Is he still a potential ace or more of a fring starter?

There's a pretty big gap between those two. Don't think he was ever a potential ace with that level of command. Would expect him to be better than he was last year (decent ERA notwithstanding) as he trusts the stuff more further removed from the lat
