Can you explain Kris Bryant's career? Seemed underrated, then overrated, now injured...what is the outlook from here?

I don't know that I'd agree he was underrated early. Top prospect, Rookie of the Year, MVP, key piece of a World Series winner. Hall of Fame level start before he settled in as a "merely" very good player (probably not coincidentally around the time he hurt his shoulder)

The Rockies' tenure has just been wrecked by his foot injuries. I could see a path to him becoming underrated there if he stays healthy because he's largely out of the public view on a really bad team, but he hasn't been able to stay on the field the last two years

I think LaRussa set back Vaughn by shifting positions, benching for no good reason, etc. This year post LaRussa, Vaughn has been mediocre. Do you think he has upside or is this who he is going forward?

Still clinging to there being more there because I was convinced he was going to be a superstar when he was at Cal

But he's like a year away from hovering in Nomar Mazara territory -- top prospect who's fine immediately at the MLB level but kind of inexplicably doesn't take the expected step forward
