JWA, well, we know defense is a high priority. The Packers leaned hard into defensive investments in the first round during Jon-Eric Sullivan's time under Brian Gutekunst and Ted Thompson. From 2012-23, the Pack went defense in all but one first round (the 2020 Jordan Love pick). Dolphins fans can prepare for that unit to receive a talent boost.

You are not wrong about the speed obsession. It's not a bad obsession to have, though. Waddle and Achane have panned out; the latter is a dynamic player out of Round 3. I didn't hate Chris Grier's drafting (though, the 2025 group needs to show more soon) as much as his pattern of giving into player demands for early extensions. His issues here with Xavien Howard, Tyreek Hill and Jalen Ramsey really hurt the Dolphins in the grand scheme.

If Pittsburgh brings back Rodgers and with their usual success even with a new staff how many fewer wins will they have next year? will it be enough to get them in the top 5?

Curtains, the Steelers get to face the NFC South next season. They also have the AFC South, which has been rather bad in most years (2025 being an outlier). Although Mike Tomlin gave Pittsburgh a historically high floor, I don't expect them to be much worse than last season.

I can't give a reasonable prediction since we don't know what their roster will look like just yet, but I do not expect them to be in the top five in 2027. Stockpiling some assets to trade into the top 10 for a QB may be necessary.

With the recent comments by Jefferson about the QB Who can they bring in to push JJ and honestly improve the room?

A lot of moving parts are present in Minnesota now that the team fired its GM. Competition for McCarthy is coming. Kirk Cousins is unexciting ahead of an age-38 season, but he would make sense while the Vikings reassessed everything. I don't love Kyler Murray in Kevin O'Connell's offense, but KOC could certainly get more out of him than the post-Kingsbury Cardinals staff did. A Mac Jones offer obviously makes sense as well.

Another call to Aaron Rodgers would be logical, too, especially since Mike Tomlin played a big role in bringing Rodgers to Pittsburgh. Targeting Jefferson, Jordan Addison and T.J. Hockenson in a dome may sound nicer than a second Pittsburgh year to close his career.
