Good morning Gerry. I know coach T. Has said he would take a year off. That being said do you know of any team trying to change his mind ?
Gerry Dulac

I do not David, but I'm sure there might have been some feelers.

Gerry,  I’ve moved around a lot, currently in Little Rock Arkansas.  Thoughts across the country differ on how they fell about Mike Tomlin and the Steelers.  The majority of football fans consider them both highly successful. That said, Pittsburgh fans have mostly different thoughts.  Of the coaching candidates, who do you think can walk in and be the guy for Pittsburgh, while also keeping their world wide reputation?

I think their world-wide reputation will remain intact, no matter what. And it's not like the franchise is in disarray. Five playoff appearances in the past six years is not the sky  falling. Nobody ever thought Mike Tomlin would walk in and be the guy. And, I know it was different back then with no social media and the NFL's massive TV exposure, but NOBODY ever heard of Chuck Noll.

Hi Gerry, this coaching search takes me back to 2007 when we fans thought it was a clear cut coin flip between Russ Grimm and Whisenhunt.  Do you remember having an opinion on who they would hire at the time?  If so, were you right?

After the in-person interview processes, my hunch (based on what I know about the Steelers and what I was hearing) was right. So.....

Grant Udinski was one of the first names I heard as a possible replacement for Mike Tomlin, yet I didn’t see his name among those who had a first round interview with the Steelers. Do you have any insight as to why the Steelers have not considered him despite interest from several other teams who are looking for a head coach?
Gerry Dulac

I don't and I keep hearing he is the guy the Browns are going to hire.

Good Morning Gerry.  When the Steelers drafted Kaleb Johnson, I thought he was going to be a stud. To cut to the chase, what happened??  Did he see the field at all during the regular season.  He was so far buried, he was in Roman Wilson's dog's doghouse

So did I and I haven't given up on the idea. What happened? Kenny Gainwell happened.

Well, I've been having so much fun I lost track of time....Goodness. Who's paying my OT?? Let's do it again next week, shall we?
