Many are predicting a WR or RB for the Steelers first selection.  Could there be someone that slips out of the first round not from those positions that the Steelers could not pass up.  And would there be someone in that group that you would not pass up.

That is always possible, but not likely. Their No. 1 objective is to find more firepower for their offense, someone who can help score points.

I don't need to provide insight. I can repeat what Kevin Colbert has said all along -- they are excited that both players are healthy and can hopefully get back to their 2018 production. Well, that's only happening if Ben is back 100 percent. And of course Conner is healthy....now.

It was announced about 1 hour ago that Bud Dupree signed his tender.

That is correct. And, despite what Kevin Colbert says about wanting to sign him to long-term contract, that ain't happening. Not this year and, at the very least, not until after TJ Watt signs his big contract extension.

To clarify, I meant to ask about any insight related to whether or not long term contracts will be seriously considered or negotiated for those two players. Thanks, Gerry!

Oh....I think it will be a big leap of faith for the Steelers to give Conner another contract, unless he can play like he did in '18 and play a full season without injuries. JuJu, I believe, will get a second contract. That is their intention.
Well, kids, that's all the time we have today. I will let you know tonight which player I think the Steelers will take at 49.
