IF Tomlin should ever decide to coach again - which I believe  he will not - would it not be interesting to see who he would select for his coaching staff, assuming said owner would allow him to do that?  I kept hearing the debates last season where people would say 'he would get hired again in 5 minutes' if he should be fired.  Well, now he is available and there does not seem to be many, if any calling his name.  In addition to the burnout Tomlin cited in his NBC interview, do you think there's an element of the 'emperor has no clothes' happening here?

IF either Howard or Allar are the future, what would be the best scenario for them long term: the stronger candidate of the two is named starter this year even though he isn't quite ready and takes more than his share of lumps, or that player gets to observe and learn from a top 10-15 QB of all time without ever taking a snap?

Gerry, why was Khan on the phone with Lemon before the cowboys pick was in instead of on the phone with Jerry Jones? People can say they didn’t expect the eagles to trade up, but any team that wanted lemon could have traded up for him. Why not match the Dallas offer of two 4th rd picks and go get your guy?
