It really doesn't matter. Out of respect, they might just start w Vince Williams and Tyler Matakevich. Or, they could pull the Ryan Shazier move and put Devin Bush in there immediately. That, of course, is how they will start the season, which is all that matters

Good morning Gerry, when the Steelers drafted Diontae Johnson they passed on some bigger/taller receivers. Are they now favoring the more fluid, disciplined receivers over the bigger guys who can be a bit more clumsy at times?

James Harrison is an anomaly. They are not all like that. But I wouldn't call Watt or especially Dupree lanky.

They didn't draft a safety and as you said, it may be their thinnest position. How do you see it shaking out and do any of these unsigned FA post-draft from big college programs hold any intrigue? In this day and age, Darren Perry would have been one of those.

That's what we'll have to see come training camp. Even the OTAs will give them some indication, but not like when the guys have pads on.

Who gave you that impression? They don't have that much room on the roster for nine draft picks. To me, the only locks to make the team are Bush, Johnson, Layne and Snell. Isaiah Buggs and Sutton Smith have a decent shot. That's it.
