So, the Steelers are unsure of Howard and they want to show some things before they trade him. Nothing unusual about that. 6th round pick that 32 teams passed on 5 times. McCarthy is good but, he ain't a miracle worker. Just trying to polish it up a little bit before going to market.

Can we all STOP acting like Mason has been victimized by this organization? All respect to you Gerry, you’ve lead the charge on this one. He’s had ample opportunities with Pittsburgh, Tennessee and 30 other teams that have copious amounts of tape on him. Great guy, great teammate and absolutely no moxy, energy or anything that would scare an opponent or motivate a team. He’s been given multiple shots and MILLIONS of dollars by Pittsburgh. If anyone fears releasing him because the younger ones can’t outperform him, they might as well get rid of the whole room and start over again. Again, I had high hopes for him, but he’s just blah. Time to move on.

Mason is a very good NFL backup QB who has proven he can come into the game at any time and be productive, much less a liability. Has anybody looked around the league at some of the backup QBs? You talk about blah. Mason is a pro's pro. He knows it's a business. He knows how things can sometimes work out. Teams would be fortunate to have him as a backup

It seems with all the media rotation on all the headlines with AR, the draft, Michael Pittman and Dowdle that one item gets consistently left out. The potential impact of Brisker. How will he fit with the secondary and where does that leave Ramsey? I’m intrigued and excited about Briskers addition to the team, I feel he could be a sleeper/dark horse player that will surprise a lot of fans! What’re your thoughts?
