Hey Gerry, I've slept in those dorm rooms on those "beds" and it's pretty awful,  and I'm a runt.  How do these guys do it, bring their own mattresses and all the bedding?  No wonder there are fights in camp.

Paul Zeise had an interesting article about Polamalu and the Steelers Hall of Honor which I agree with. Hopefully, Troy will come around since he had no issues when he was here.  That being said, is it safe to say that Bell and Brown should NEVER be in the Hall of Honor due to the way they treated the organization?

How AB treated the Steelers will have nothing to do with whether he gets into the Hall of Fame. I think LeV Bell has a  looooong way to go before anyone even mentions HOF

I didn’t think the Steelers would extend Tomlin until they actually did it.  Doesn’t that send the wrong message to the players that you can underperform and still get rewarded with a new contract or is this simply the new “standard”?

According to the roster on the team website, Snell weighs 224 and Conner weighs 233. So why are so many fans saying Snell is the answer to providing a "power running" game. Wouldn't the bigger factor be having a FB come in to provide lead blocking for whichever RB is in?

They will use a FB in short yardage situations. But I think's Snell's hard-fought running style lends itself to viewing him as a good short-yardage back

With the additions of D. Bush, S. Nelson, M. Barron and another year of experience for T Edmunds the defense should collectively be better due to the lack of individual holes that opposing offenses can pick apart.  This should elevate the game of individual players like B. Dupree who have underperformed in the past but can now take advantage of the collective improvement of the team.  My question- How does the front office discern individual achievement vs. team effort when making contract offers to players like Dupree?

I think they look at both, i.e., how a player fits into the scheme and how successful was the scheme. Obviously, Mike Tomlin loves Bud Dupree. But, if the Steelers loved him that much, they would have already extended him. I don't expect him to be w the Steelers in 2020.

If you are Mike Tomlin, do you allow Bush to play upwards of 75% of the defensive snaps on Friday against the Bucs. Leaving just 25% to be divided up amongst the lower rungs of the depth chart?

G Fred Johnson. Big guy (6-7, 325), especially for a guard. But uses his hands well and battles.
