hi Gerry, I have heard mixed results on Kenny Pickett. One newspaper article stating he isn’t even ready for a preseason game. If so did the Steelers once again draft a player too early. Thoughts?

Because he will be a practice squad player at best and they're trying to get two other new QBs work and see what they can do. Right now, that's way more important.

Of course. The biggest is trying to see how their new QBs -- Trubisky and Pickett -- fit in and assessing their progress. As far as Canada's approach, yes, there is one big difference -- he has his QBs on the move quite a bit.

Those rumors are from fans, but he would be a huge upgrade from Bush. But ask yourself this -- how much money do you want the Steelers to keep spending on defensive players?? This isn't the LIV Tour after all

Watched hard knocks last night.  Lions have 3 ex Steelers on their coaching staff.  Staley, Randle El and Fraley.  Any current Steelers seem like future coaches in the nfl?

Hey Gerry, all reports indicate that Mason Rudolph has been the best, most consistent QB at camp. Despite this, he has not been given one snap with first team going all the way back to OTAs. How can Mike Tomlin call this a fair competition?

They know what Mason Rudolph can do. They've already had four full years to evaluate him. Another 2 1/2 weeks isn't going to change a thing.

Keep in mind, they don't have a future HOFer at QB. So it will be different, yes. Doesn't mean it will be dreadful.

Does the NFL alternate whose playing 9 home this season. It seems Jacksonville is being screwed 7 home games plus London. Is this fair?

You play 9 at home one year, 9 away the following year, and so forth. When you have 9 home games, you only have one home preseason game.
