I think there's a chance. They want to properly evaluate him as best they can and the best way is to give him a few shots with some of the first-team starters. But I wouldn't hold your breath.

Haha is right. No, I haven't seen him do it but we know he can do it. Maybe he's doing it when nobody is watching. But it will be pretty cool to see if and when he does it in a game. If it were me, I'd do it in the preseason just to let other teams know you have it in your weaponry

Something stinks about the Dotson situation. During minicamp it was reported the coaches were upset with him. Now that he’s finally practicing, he’s on the second team. Total speculation, but did he do something stupid during the offseason that resulted in an injury and got him in the doghouse?

I admit it's a little odd but I will also admit that Mike Tomlin likes to stoke the fire a little with some of his younger players. He typically doesn't throw a lot of bouquets at his younger players, if you have noticed.

I randomly saw a picture of the Rams locker room, and they have "The Standard is the Standard" in bold letters written in the locker room and I looked it up and read an article how Sean McVay has "McVayisms" that he tells his team and that was one of them. Naturally I got a little mad cause I feel he copied Mike Tomlin.
Have you ever heard that phrase before Tomlin?

I think Tomlin should sue for copyright infringement, though I believe he and McVay are friends so maybe he gave him permission. To your question, I'm sure that expression was used somewhere before, though, to me, it smacks a little of "It is what it is."

Really sorry that Tunch can't continue and we pray for him. I have heard Max Starks speak at some events and I think he will be great on the sideline for the radio this year.

Gerry, I wrote this letter/request to you last year and did not get the favorable reply I hoped for. So here goes again this year......how about the PG publishing the Steeler game day roster vs opponent? With all the new Steeler faces and the crazy numbering, I think the 'Steeler Nation' would really appreciate this. The Dallas Morning News publishes this every Cowboy game day and it is a big hit here with the fans. And it doesn't take up a lot of newspaper space.. Thanx, greg.

That's above my pay grade, as players like to say. I heard mason Rudolph say that the other night after the Cowboys game and I thought, 'Wow, you're getting $5 million a year. That's some pay grade." I don't make those decisions.

It doesn't matter what type of camp he is having, they will keep three TEs, even if one of them isn't him, though I suspect it will be.

It's hard to see grit when so far we haven't seen a lot of the players. That grit will show itself in games, no so much in practice. But that was one thing new OL coach Adrian Klemm wanted to establish

Not so much yet, but if he would continue to do it he might find himself as the sixth receiver on the team. He's also a dependable receiver.

Coach Tomlin mentioned that TJ’s absence has allowed him to get a better look at Melvin Ingram, but he didn’t elaborate. Have you seen much from Ingram in camp that gives any indication of how he acclimating to the Steelers' D?
