I'd give him the early part of the regular season to show me he can play with some amount of effectiveness. But, hey, shouldn't Bush's deficiencies been evaluated when they moved up to draft him???

Well, I think he has not been the type of player everyone expected when they signed him, but give him time. He's playing with new players and a new OL coach. Again, let me see him when it counts.

Gerry, what has happened to Bush. A guy the Steelers traded up 10 spots n the 1st round to get. I can see a guy that may not have the speed to cover a tight end, but I can’t see aN INSIDE LINEBACKER refusing to hit.

Good morning Gerry,                     Is there any indication the coaching staff views D. Bush as a liability when he’s on the field? If so do you think the team will just scheme around his weakness, not play him or actually make a move to strengthen the ILB position before the season?

I believe Mason has more to show than what hes played prior..He always had it was Bens team in his head and with the fans..now he knows he can be the guy..He can be himself and play differently.. Mitch has had years too and hasn't done anything. there is tape on his play too.  Just saying  Mason deserves better.

Gerry, in my opinion, HCMT is not great at evaluating talent.  Example: Jarvis Jones, Devin Bush, Kendrick Greene. When will he be called on this?  Never, probably.  Your thoughts.

To be fair, that's not all on him. That's why they have personnel people to evaluate them before they are drafted.

Good Morning Mr. Dulac,

All this talk of trading Mason Rudolph is for the draft-niks who love to create mocks all throughout the year.  The offensive line still looks porous on pass blocking.

They may end up needing all 3 QB's this season if that continues (I was gonna say all 4 but even I am not that pessimistic).

The Steelers have always believed in keeping 3 QBs on the roster, especially two who are NFL ready if not proven.
