Why does everybody say that about Sean Davis? All he does is start every game despite always getting moved around. I'm not saying he is a Pro Bowler, but he is not a dud

Yes they will. Stamp Switzer on the team. Reliable and a returner. The sixth will come from the other 3.

Gerry, is Tomlin onto something with all the hybrid defensive players he now has.  I truly believe he has been trying to create this type of defense for the last few years & simply did not have the players for it.  I'm excited about this team this year.  Your thoughts please

I would agree. He believes that's the way the game is played, especially because his team is playing sub-package football (5 or more DBs) 75 percent of the time

What's your view for Special Teams this year?  Seems they've been a real problem for the last several years.  I'm surprised (disappointed) no coaching changes there.

It's so hard to truly evaluate and judge special teams. But I will say people forget about the number of blocks and successful trick plays they have executed.

If Bud actually does have a good year 10+, is his contract renewed at a higher price than this rookie one?  for instance, do they lock him up for the 8 or 9 Mill a year they're paying now?

If Bud does have a good year, I don't think you have to worry about the Steelers signing him. He will go on the free-agent market and get a monster deal from some other team

I agree. Still not sure what they saw. And, if they saw something, it wasn't anything more than you see or just about any other route. Musta been the same official who threw the flag at Joe Haden in New Orleans last year.

Doesn’t it make more sense for Dobbs to be the 3rd QB, running the scout team?  With his smarts and mobility, he would seem to be perfectly suited to it with Jackson and Mayfield in the division.

If they are going to prepare for that type of QB, they can always do that anyway, whether he's No. 2 or 3
