I'm a big believer in Khan but I can't help but feel it was not only a mistake to not pick up Najees option but even more so to not extend Daniels and reportedly all but say they're moving on from him after this yr. He's their highest rating OLineman! (Albeit with no Seumalu) I realize they like Mccormick but he's an unknown quantity.  Do you think that was a mistake and is the door closed on a return of Daniels next year?

No, the door is not closed on Daniels, but I wouldn't sit there and think it is a real possibility he will be back. JD has been very good and they know it. But so has Dan Moore and you can pretty much bet he will be gone after this season, too. As for Najee, I believe they will bring him back in 2025

Hello Gerry ever since your Chats resumed I've been asking about the Steelers need for a WR... but clearly Ben and Pouncey both agree they NEED a legitimate WR2 on the team that's not already here... so 2 part-er here 1) On a scale of 1-10 how involved are they in the market? (10 being super involved) and 2) Davante Adams on a Scale of 1-10 (10 being trying really hard to acquire)

Love the chats Mr Dulac.  While I am loving what I a, seeing from QB Fields at the moment, is it wrong for inquiring minds to want to see what QB Wilson can do for this team?  At present we are exceeding expectations, but I would really like to know who is best suited to be our next good QB a for a few years to come.

They are exceeding expectations with Fields because the bar was set so low with him. That's what I love about the national media guys who are throwing bouquets at Fields right now. They are the same guys who were blasting him and saying why the Bears should move on from him

I believe that  not naming fields the starter is only hindering his abilities. I feel like by naming him QB1 going forward it would allow him to play more freely and with more confidence thus opening up the floodgates. Thoughts?

The trade deadline isn't until the first week of November, so I have time to think about it

If the Steelers are 4-0, I think he will come back with Fields again. I think what everyone has to remember is Wilson missed a lot of time in camp and preseason with a new team. Don't forget that.

There is no question he has played well. He has played the way they want him to play. They don't want him to win the game as much as they don't want him to lose it. And that's what he's done
