Was Derek Watt signed, at least in part, to help secure TJ's future with the team?  I can think of no other reason to pay a fullback who is barely used that kind of money.

I'm not sure the reason, but he's the second highest paid FB in the league with an average salary of $3.2 million. That's a lot of money to pay a guy NOT to help your running game.

Gerry… I know they don’t want to do it but the only time Ben looks comfortable is going tempo and no huddle.  Why don’t they go to that earlier?  “Throw early, run late”.    I mean let’s be honest that is the only thing we can do    So why not do it?   Give the defense a lead maybe and things could change?

Gerry,      If the first three games are showing that #7’s skills are eroding why not replace him?  This would save him from possibly a life changing injury and more importantly give the offense that the OC wants to implement a chance to thrive.  Thank you.

That's a good question. That used to be Ben's greatest strength -- the 15 to 18-yard pass. He was arguably the best in the league at it.

why Is 85 getting more reps than 88…..makes zero sense.      Looked like Ben had enough of 85 after he dropped that TD in endzone in 4th quarter

He did against the Bengals, but not against the Bills and Raiders. Ebron has been targeted just seven times in three games. Looks like he already has had enough of him

Late in the past 2 games, with time left being a huge issue, Boswell kicked off short, allowing returns & time to come off the clock. By design, which would be another head scratcher?

I never understand that, unless you're playing the percentages of a return team getting a penalty, which seems to happen more times than not in the NFL

I know the offense has been dreadful, but how much is Diontae Johnson a real difference maker for this team? Does getting him back open up some things for a team looking to get the ball out quickly and have a receiver make something happen?

It can't hurt. He's the one receiver capable of coming out of his breaks quick and gaining separation -- so long as he is running the right route.
