No such thing as a redshirt in the NFL, though I think I know what you mean. I think they are going to keep their fingers crossed with two QBs until there is an injury for now.

Gerry - it’s kind of insane how when the Steelers lose, it’s all Tomlin’s fault and when they win, it’s all because of our star players. What’s wrong with giving Coach T some love for being right about Aaron over Justin & Russ, right about DK over Pickens, and right about the Ramsey move? Under Tomlin’s watch the team has been relevant every year for two decades…with our without Ben or “Cowher’s guys”…our fan base can sure be a spoiled bunch…let’s just enjoy the current win streak!

It's not pointing down, but it's not pointing up either. After 1 1/2 years, there should've been something. If they thought he was dynamic, they would play him. And if they think he's dynamic and not playing him, that's even worse.

Gerry. Kudos to the front office for the Jalen Ramsey and Smith trade for Fitzpatrick.  Ramsey is making the splash play that Fitzpatrick never seemed to make in his last couple years. Smith has been a nice tight end acquisition also.

Good morning Gerry.  Always appreciate your coverage, and may I sat I enjoy all the snarkiness.  Steelers so far have a manager +13 in point differential and been out gained by 100+ yards a game.  We have not faced a top 15 QB.  Fair to say 4-1 a bit overrated?

Tomlin’s post bye week record is laudable, showing he takes self-scouting seriously and makes changes. But it again doesn’t answer the question why he can’t prepare the team better on short weeks for Thursday night road contests. His winning % on them are so much worse than his counterparts

OOPS...sent message before I got done. Needless to say, I can't watch many Steelers games live here in Iowa. Is the any way to find out which NFL games are going to be rebroadcast on the NFL Network? I've tried to find out but have not been able to so far.  Thank you...and GO STEELERS!

They're doing it. They're re-sodding. Which they do 2-3 times every year. They were just a week late doing it this year. The field has not been a problem for years.
