No. Like I just said, I think the mindset of the offense in general and the line in particular to run the ball more frequently and effectively is evolving

Good question. Probably because they feel Walton is more NFL-ready to play. And he will have to play. I think what will be more curious to see if they use Walton more than Isaiah Buggs, who is on the 53-man roster. And I bet they will for the same reason.

Thanks for the chats, Gerry. Have you been surprised the Steelers continue to release players that could help in the future, even as early as next year? (I.e Skipper, Spencer, F, Johnson)?

for all the criticism Tomlin receives it sure seems like his players are still giving 100% effort for a team everyone seems to think is playing out a lost season. We should be careful what we wish for concerning letting Tomlin go.

Gerry, I had my post-draft prediction for the season as being 6-10.  I relate that to coaching more than available players.  I see the New England coach being perfectly capable of taking the same team and going to the AFC title game.  What is your take?

Wow. That's some take. Especially since you had them at 6-10 BEFORE Ben's injury, which automatically disqualifies you for making any kind of prediction that has even a semblance of merit. But thanks for the observation.
