Transition small possibility. But I think they will just him walk. It is inevitable. If they transition him, which will be about $9-10 million, and he receives an offer, the Steelers are never going to match it anyway. They are not going to go through another year of the nonsense. So, if they do not match the offer, they receive nothing in return. If they let him become a free agent, they at least get a third-round comp pick in 2020.

Although the schedule has a very tough finishing stretch, the tougher games are at home with Saints being the notable exception. I see a 6-1 or 5-2 finish, how about you?

Do think we'll ever learn what really happened behind closed doors?  With all the swirling media speculation and mixed messages from LeVeon over the weeks and months, I would love to eventually read about what Bell and his agent discussed, what they're plan was, how it changed over time, and what the Steelers truly offered him to stay.  Glad the drama is over, but I'm curious to know the truth about how all this was mishandled and fell apart.  Truly believe Bell would have been better off taking what the Rooneys offered him to stay and retire as a Steeler.
