Hi Gerry, if Ben is only 6’3”, does he score that TD Sunday?  Seriously, J. Ramsey is an excellent corner but every time they replayed his coverage of AB, he’s grabby & pushy way downfield.  On the INT in the end zone, he contacts 84 coming over his back well before the ball arrives.  When there was little to no contact on occasion, 19 & 84 were catching med-long balls or TDs.  Illegal or am I being too biased?

And not if his sleeve length is 34 inches either. AB gets a lot of calls in his favor because he is AB. I didn't have a problem with the Ramsey interception, maybe because it was a fantastic individual effort to take the ball with one hand

Hines Ward was the most complete football player at the WR position.  Is his folklore enough for HOF selection committee to vote him in despite Isaac Bruce & Torry Holt being semifinalists?

He won't get in this year, that's for sure, and he may never get in. I don't know that his folklore, as you call it, extends beyond Pittsburgh, though his style of a play for a WR caused the league to change the blocking rules.

Will you pay $19.99 to see the match? Who do you think will win and who will be the most entertaining?
Gerry Dulac
11:33
No. Phil. And Phil. He and Tiger get along. He knows how to goad him into having some fun

With the time you have spent around players over the years, do you get the feeling the money is more important, or maybe less money and a Super Bowl ring?  Kind of wondering about guys like Bell if the Steelers win it all.

This is the way it is: Players play first and foremost for the contract, the money, and I don't blame them. The ones who play for the ring, the ones who say they desperately want to win a Super Bowl, are the ones who have already made their money. It doesn't matter to a player if his team has a good chance to win a Super Bowl when another team who might not have the same chance offers a bigger and better contract. It's all about the money

Danny Smith gets a lot of heat from fans for all the penalties.  But how much is on him, and how much of the ST penalties are on the players?

It's not just the Steelers, it's everywhere around the league. There aren't too many returns, especially on punts, when a penalty isn't called. If I were a special teams coach, I'd instruct my players to always call for a fair catch on punts and never return any kickoff that goes beyond the goalline.

I don't think you were watching that first half in Jacksonville. He was the Steelers' best player on the field.

OK kids, that's all the time we have today. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
