Don't you think that fans who are so upset at the Steelers/Tomlin/Colbert about Harrison's release are being silly?  The guy couldn't get on the field here, and we're not going to fill one of 53 spots just to keep someone from going to another team.

Hi Gerry - Wow, sounds like James Harrison was a horrible teammate and very selfish which is not at all surprising to me. Are you surprised to hear these things with your access to the team? It seems the media always made him out to be a leader / mentor to younger guys. That clearly is not the truth?

To bad Tomlin has had maybe his best year as a coach. How he dealt with Bell, Bryant and all the young guys not to mention Harrison. Is it just me or does he get the recognition he deserves?

I find it interesting. Everyone talks about the Pats. To me I would not be surprised if a team like the Ravens if they make it could beat both the Jags and Pats.  Even if the Bolts make it they could get past the Pats. Steelers could still play at home in the AFC Final. Thoughts?

Cant believe Harrison acted the way he did during this season. But if Martavis was worse and the steelers did not trade him then why did they let Harrison go knowing The evil pats could pick him up. Did things get so bad with harrison that they had to?

Will we see info pop up later about why Watson isn't on the 53 like we have seen with Harrison? Seems odd that he fell to the practice squad, then we signed Ridley instead of bringing him up.

Enough about Harrison, run defense has become a liability even discounting loss of RS. MT sounded cavalier about these issues. What do you believe they will try to do to correct their errors, e.g. poor angles, not getting off blocks, etc?

I think you saw them correct it very well after Chicago and Jacksonville. I'm sure they are capable of doing it again

I think KC will end up being the lowest seed, and play the Pats, which is the best scenario for a loss for Bellicheat. Maybe all this is playing out for the best for the Steelers

Gerry - I appreciate your work, but how could you and the other sports reporters "'miss" the real James Harrison story?   Your story blaming the Steelers looks foolish now.   Didn't you see that he wasn't on the sidelines in Indy and Cincy?   Didn't you hear any of the other rumors?   I think you owe us fans who depend on you for news about the team an explanation of this.
