He was but they also know they have a guy in Cam Sutton who they want to get on the field. Maybe see what Hilton gives in year 2 before throwing more money at him based on one season

I know the off-season priority should be defense, but in today's NFL, not many teams play quality defense.  Sometimes the best defense is a ball control offense.  Pay Bell, get another quality back to ease the workload, and keep Ben healthy.  What are your thoughts?

Can you explain why Ben is not the team MVP every year?  He produces top stats and makes everyone around him better.  Where would we be without him?

He is the team MVP, whether voted or ot. He is the most valuable, without question, because he is the one player they can least afford to lose. But that doesn't mean another player didn't have a better year, like, say, A.B. Just like on defense. Cam Heyward had the MVP year, but the player they could least afford to lose was the one they did -- Ryan Shazier

A report just came across from Ian Rapoport saying the Steelers are listening to trade offers for M. Bryant. I think it'll be a mistake to trade him unless they can get a 2nd rd pick. Where do you see his trade value?

Not a second-round pick. They would never get it. Like I said earlier, with his suspension history, I'd be surprised if it was anything higher than a fifth

I was always hearing ruling on the field statements from officials that included comments like the player did not have control of the ball. Some of the replays showed the ball may have moved a quarter of an inch. But isn't there a difference between not having control of the ball, and still having control but the ball is able to move just a bit?

I'm not down on him as a player. He's very good. But you start weighing dollars when you have a QB like No. 7 and a WR like 84 and offensive line with two All-Pros. And I never said Fitz Toussaint

Wouldn't be surprised to see two ILBs, but that will depend on free agency. My best guess is they will sign an ILB in free agency and still draft one No. 1 or 2 in April
