Why do so many NFL skill players have so many hamstring issues? We don't see it in the NBA, NHL, MLB or in college as much. Is it over-training, or improper training, or what?

I don't know that it's improper training, but I would think it would have to do with how tightly constructed their bodies are to play this game. And how explosive you have to be in this sport.

Maybe he realized he had a better opportunity w the Patriots, who don't have Brown and Bryant on the roster.

It's a hamstring. I wouldn't call that a major concern. Golson had shoulder surgery and Lis Franc foot injury. Those are concerns.

I know, that's different MO for them. I'm not sure, other than they feel that's easiest way to get players they think can help and/or add depth. Don't have to wait for waiver wire.
